Slightly disappointed, if I'm to be honest. Order was placed & paid for on Thurs 28th August and didn't get dispatched until 6 days later on Weds 3rd September (arriving two days after that). I had no email stating that there would be any kind of delay processing my order.

Got this on offer, seems to make a significant difference to the rise and flavour in my usual sourdough recipe. Surprised at how little is needed, though because of that a little concerned at the relatively short shelf life (Feb 2015)

BakeryBits were extremely fast and prompt with the order I recently made for diastatic malt flour. Needed it in a hurry and on using it, it was every bit as advertised. Made far better bread than I used to with the diastatic malt flour.

Tried it as instructed found it was not to my taste. However it does give an oven spring and a lovely chocolate crust. Gave it away to a fellow home baker and she is loving it. I'll carry on the traditional way.

Tried Diax using 50% Lammas Fayre Medieval peasant blend and 50% strong white. It produced a well risen very tasty loaf with a great crust

I have using this product and it does seem to help to give a good crust on my breads. Without doing comparative tests it's hard to be definitiveas a home bread baker. I am using small quantities and it does discolour with time so, I try hard to exclude the air from it and have broken my last order into small packages to freeze off and use on at a time

I thought the claims about this flour were too good to be true - but they aren't! I have been baking sourdough for about 5 years and wish I had found this kind of flour earlier. It really makes my bread lighter and gives it an even better rise and crumb. I will be using it from now on without fail. Great service from Bakery Bits again.
