The malt flour wasn't packed properly and leaked. It was quite messy when I opened the envelope. I haven't tried using it yet so can't make a statement about quality.

I was really impressed by the speedy delivery from Bakery Bits and also how well packaged everything was in environmentally friendly packaging! The flour is also well packed and I only needed a teaspoonful to improve the quality of my bread. Very good price and value for money.

I read an article by Dan Lepard in your newsletter when he gave us the professional bakers secret ingredient, diastatic malt, so I had to try your Diax. I read that If too much is used the crumb gets gummy, so I used 2.5g to 500g of flour and it’s amazing, it produced a lovely oven spring, good crust and crumb. I love this magic dust. Thank you Bakerybits. One more thing, 100g can be sent by Royal Mail, so reasonable postage cost too.

Excellent product. I’m using 1 gram per hundred of stoneground flour and the loaf is better in colour, texture and richer in taste.

The packet containing the Diax was not very well sealed and caused some of the content to come out.
