This has made a huge difference to slashing my loaves after years of tearing dough with various kitchen knives! As mentioned in previous posts it does take a bit of practice to get used to. My advice would be to take your time and enjoy the process, rather than slashing away like the pros!

This does not have the precision that I had hoped for. It does cut the top of the risen dough, but not much better than a sharp knife really. It still dragged a little. Maybe I need more practice!

With its very thin razor blade it cuts the softest of doughs without tearing it and though you can apparently curve the blade simply by bending it, something that I rather tentatively tried, I use it, as it comes, with a straight blade. I'm vey happy with it.

Prompt arrival. Does just as intended, with a bit of practice you get a nice clean slash without tearing or dragging. Replacement blades were a bit pricey.
