Item arrived promptly and have only used this twice, but it doesn't cut, just drags the dough surface. Maybe I have a dud one, but the blade simply isn't sharp enough. Will go back to using a kitchen knife used only for scoring dough which I sharpen every three or four loaves.

I have not used this item yet as my cooking course does not start until 23 September, but the help and advice I was given when ordering this item was first class, highly recommended.

i bought the Grignette to slash my baguettes, what a success. I purchased the baguette tray too and felt very smug when I was able to make 24 baguettes for a party we were holding that all looked very professional.
