“The hotel is rated 4 star which is definitely not the case,it is located right next to an awful rundown looking block of flats
The room was filthy which stained carpets and mould in the bathroom
The mattress on the bed was terrible and has springs poking out of it
They were very understaffed and had 2 new members apparently started the night we were there and the manger spoke to one of them terribly infront of customers
Was prob one of the worst stays we have had”
“Despite booking room for 3, room not configured correctly. Reception kept promising that it would be dealt with. After an hour, several prompts (always hearing 20 mins) and with an early start necessary - I asked why Receptionist couldn’t deal with it instead of chatting to colleagues. Informed that he did not know how to make the bed! I asked for the bedding and made it myself.
Complete lack of interest - very poor.”
“I had read some reviews which were not good. This hotel is very good. Everywhere is clean. Nice bar area. Food in the restaurant is great. The room was perfect for our needs, just one night before an early flight.”
“Room was fine as expected, except the air conditioning didn’t work… Must of been a problem throughout the hotel as fans were being given… Don’t think I’ll bother again unless I ring first…”
“The room was small but good for a 1 night stopover. Bathroom was shabby and in need of a refurb. The dripping tap was annoying but again was adequate for a 1 night stay. On a more positive note the location was brilliant just a few minutes from the airport and the lounge and dining area was very comfortable. We had a very nice meal and all the staff were all very pleasant.”
“Location, facilities and staff all ok but the rooms we tried were hotter than the Sun, all other hotel areas were reasonably cool. It meant we hardly slept and were not fresh for our long flight.
Sounds trivial but with outside temperatures of 28-30 degrees it was horrible. I had to sleep with a wet towel over my head! How the room temperature were so high I can’t understand other than both rooms we tried were right next to the aircon fans on the roof, chuckling out hot air.
The staff provided a fan but it just pushed hot air around!”
