“The freehub on my trek rail 5 suffered a bearing failure. I couldn't get the bike booked in, to any of my local bike shops for at least three week's, so I decided to go ahead and have a go at fixing myself. I came across Wych Bearings and typed in the bearing sizes I needed. There were a few different specs so, not knowing any better,I picked one and ordered a couple of pairs. Luckily, there was a box asking you to state the application for the bearings, I put in that they were for a freehub and sent off my order. Then I got an email from Matt Stevens, at Wych, asking me to give him a ring about my order. I rang up and Matt patiently explained that the bearings I'd ordered were better suited to pivots, rather than a freehub. He then advised me on the correct spec bearings and adjusted my order to suit. The bearings were also a couple of £ cheaper, so I also got a partial refund! To cap it off, the bearings arrived the next day! They fitted perfectly and are running very smoothly. A massive thank you to Matt Stevens, and Wych, I won't be shopping anywhere else for bearings in future👍”
