“Antiquated, intrusive and inappropriate for moder living was my longtime response to hearing aids. Hounded by family over a number of years, eventually drove me to the Hearing Centre where I had a robust conversation with Alex. He made various recommendations for various hearing aids. My choice was the most expensive at over £4,000 for the aid plus service over 5 years. Small, lightweight fitting behind the ear with a thin wire which linked to a plastic speaker that lodged in the outer ear. It was initially set at 75% of prescription and the seagulls mage a huge noise. The learning curve. Easy to fit for daytime use and charge overnight. Wearing glasses or a mask, changing clothes over head became the norm. Becoming part of the conversation and agreeing to more public speaking events suddenly became easy. Linking the hearing aid to my iPhone means I can listen to Netflix or make telephone calls with sound into my earphones. These new hearing aids are what you want the to be. And Alex was a very professional problem solver, and we will continue our robust conversations of the next few years. And I no longer notice the seagulls. Thanks”

“I have been very impressed with The Hearing Centre at Stratford-upon-Avon. I had tried various high street opticians offering a hearing service but was not impressed - they always were intent to sell me two hearing aids. I only have a deficit in one ear! In the end the NHS fitted me with one hearing aid but I felt I needed something more state of the art. Laura at the Hearing Centre was very professional, gave me a lot time to explain the various assessments she made and tests and why she was recommending the certain type of hearing aid. I then returned for a fitting and she made me feel I could return at any stage if I was unsure of anything. I had several appointments where she tested the hearing aid and ‘tweaked’ it each time until I was given a date for my 6 monthly appointment. The hearing quality is superb, the device is very discreet and I just charge it overnight. It suits me very well and the customer service I have received has been first rate; all at a reasonable price. I cannot fault it. It’s made me feel very confident.”

“I tried Specsavers first but the wait for an appointment was months and months ahead. Wish I had known about Stratford Hearing Centre, they got me in really quickly and it was a friendly, professional, great service from start to finish. Will recommend to anybody that needs this service. My ear felt great after and has stayed that way.”

“I would give the The Worcester Hearing Center six stars and use the words EXCELLENT The first point of contact -when I made an appointment via the telephone Reception staff- Efficient,Patient,and Friendley Day of Appointment -Reception well maintained very clean and tidy Reception Staff- againEfficient,Patient,and Friendley Alex was on time for my appointment to take my ear impressions for CENS ear plugs for hearing protection when Shooting. Alex Explained the procedure, all went well, he was not happy with the quality of one of the impression so re took the impression.to me this shows Great attention to detail and commitment to provide the best posable service to his clients I Rate Alex at Six *** *** Excellent”

“In March, this year, I had a hearing test and as a result needed hearing aids which I had a fitted by Alex. I found the whole team at the Worcester Hearing Centre very caring, professional, supportive with good knowledgeable explanations regarding the type of hearing aid I needed. After a couple visits back to the Centre my hearing aids were checked and I was very happy with them. I would thoroughly recommend Alex and am extremely pleased with the help he and Worcester Hearing Centre have given me.”

“After my local doctor's surgery said they "don't do it anymore" and a Nationwide store saying ear wax removal wasn't required, but I needed a hearing aid ! I decided to give Worcestershire & Stratford hearing centre a visit after reading such positive reviews and they were all correct. Laura explained the ear wax removal process of fully. My ears had not been cleaned for a number of years so I was not expecting too much. I could wax lyrical (pun intended) about my visit, but in short I was very impressed, my hearing is much much better and the treatment was not painful or invasive. My tinnitus has receded but I guess I'm stuck with that. Can't recommend Worcs & Stratford Hearing Centre enough Many thanks to all. Geoff”

“I went along for a hearing assessment at the Worcester hearing centre due to worsening hearing loss in one of my ears. I had a very thorough hearing assessment with Alex who explained everything clearly and went through the options available to me. I went away to think about it with no pressure and returned to do the free trial. Alex kept in touch during the trial and I revisited to tweak the hearing aid once I had had chance to try it in different situations. Alex was patient and thorough, and I felt I all my questions were answered. I would thoroughly recommend the Worcester Hearing Centre. I can now enjoy social situations which had become difficult and frustrating. Aftercare is brilliant too.”

“Conveniently situated in central Worcester, in a lovely historic building. Very professional, friendly environment. My Audiologist, Laura was quick to explain every step of the process, showing me the exact problems I had and what was required to deal with it. My hearing is now improved 90% plus, although as was explained to me, I have some congestion in my middle ear (from a recent cold), which is gradually improving, following self treatment as advised by Laura. All in all a very pleasant, efficient experience. 10/10.”

“Fantastic professional service from the Stratford clinic, from the friendly receptionists through to my consultant Laura who was extremely helpful knowledgeable and professional. I had had issues with build up of earwax over many years and now that the problem is outside the ambit of the NHS I went online for guidance. DO NOT FOLLOW THIS!! All the guidance pointed towards a programme of softening the wax over 3-4 week’s whereupon it would come out. It does not. The I tried an allegedly “clinically proven” well known product which would clear wax after 4 days use. It did not. My hearing by now in one ear was virtually non-existent and I could feel that my ear was essentially full of oily wax. So I made an appointment with Laura who took 10 minutes to dispel the myths above and proceeded to clear my ears of wax. The blocked ear required further irrigation and so Laura asked me to return over lunch(when no appointments made) for her to check as the ear was very wet from all the oil in it! That was at no extra charge and a quick inspection confirmed my ear was perfect. Service over and beyond I’d say. Moral here is do not try and resolve yourself. Go to an expert. I had even gone so far as to acquire a hand-held ball syringe to try and sort things. Again do not do so as the ears are too sensitive if you do not know where or how hard or soft to syringe! I cannot speak highly enough of my treatment at the Stratford Clinic. And in the final analysis £80 is a ridiculously small price to pay to get perfect hearing back, professionally and with care, after 4+ weeks of deafness!!”

“Amazing service, efficient, friendly staff, Alex was so professional, and seems to be able to remember every small detail of every conversation we’ve had, and although the product was quite expensive it is proving to worth every penny, the after service is also good. Would recommend to any one.”
