“Initially had trouble putting it together following the instructions because there were no pictures I couldn't visulise it - so suggest pictures with the insructions please. Went on you tube which was marginally better. Anyway once set up it took approx 2 days for my chicken to use it. First of all she was spooked by the noise of the treader and the lid that opens up to reveal the food but once she got over that and got the hang of it - happy days! And even happier the rats went away with in a few days too. Wish I had bought one earlier”

“Ordered 2 x automatic feeders for my hens. Reasonable price, fast (ish) delivery, great communication. I’ve only deducted a star due to Parcelforce; if you can possibly send your goods out another way? Please consider doing so. They give you a stupidly small timescale to be in for the delivery and won’t allow you to choose to leave the items in a secure spot at your home. I’ve then had to drive a 34 mile round trip to collect them. Items ordered? Great. Parcelforce? Rubbish”

We normally use them whenever we are sending fragile products such as feeders but having to drive to collect your order is not convenient whatsoever. “Bought a borotto real 24 automatic for the first time for my budgie eggs. The temperature gauge is stable and appreciate the universal tray as my budgie eggs are smaller than quail's. Based on good reviews on YouTube, I bought this and hoping will have successful hatchings. Only downside is it doesn't have humidity gauge. It has to be 65% RH while incubating eggs and after putting water on the ride side of it, had no way to know if required humidity is achieved. Luckily i have a small humidity and temperature gauge and used it only to find it is below 65%. Had to add little more water in the middle of the tray to reach 65%. Overall this looks durable and long lasting.”
