“I think this is about the fourth time I've ordered from Strangford Incubators, and my experience has been that not only did they have the items I was shopping for in stock, but they were cheaper than any other places that would normally stock them, and they arrived very quickly, which can be important when you're hatching. The incubator I bought from Strangford Incubators last year (Brinsea ovation EX 28) performed very well for me last season hatching critically endangered Shetland geese, and is about to be filled up again for the first hatch of the season this week, and the large egg cradles were cheaper than anywhere else, and arrived promptly. Overall delighted with the service I've received from Strangford Incubators, and they will generally be my first port of call now for incubator related supplies”

“Initially had trouble putting it together following the instructions because there were no pictures I couldn't visulise it - so suggest pictures with the insructions please. Went on you tube which was marginally better. Anyway once set up it took approx 2 days for my chicken to use it. First of all she was spooked by the noise of the treader and the lid that opens up to reveal the food but once she got over that and got the hang of it - happy days! And even happier the rats went away with in a few days too. Wish I had bought one earlier”

“The incubator arrived quickly, incredibly easy to set up. It is silent, I have it sitting on my kitchen table with quail eggs and one chicken egg incubating. Watching the auto turning in operation is entertaining, brings gasps of amazement from guests when they see it operating for the first time. I am only on day 3 of incubation so far, only time will tell how good this is but I am certain it is going to give the best results possible for what is my first ever hatching of eggs. “Ordered 2 x automatic feeders for my hens. Reasonable price, fast (ish) delivery, great communication. I’ve only deducted a star due to Parcelforce; if you can possibly send your goods out another way? Please consider doing so. They give you a stupidly small timescale to be in for the delivery and won’t allow you to choose to leave the items in a secure spot at your home. I’ve then had to drive a 34 mile round trip to collect them. Items ordered? Great. Parcelforce? Rubbish”

We normally use them whenever we are sending fragile products such as feeders but having to drive to collect your order is not convenient whatsoever. “The roll-away nest tray does not work as advertised”

Hi Lorraine, many thanks for your feedback. We have tried several times to contact you so that we can assist with the nest tray. The nest tray must be set at an angle whereby when eggs are laid they will roll down into the egg collection bay and once there they are protected with the clear cover. Please send us photos of the one with the 'plastic lip' so we can advise further. Happy to replace if necessary.
