“Huge import taxes in EU country - over 30% of order value! No e-mail reply from pachamama for over a week.”

Hi, thanks for taking the time to write a review - we are sorry to hear that you feel this way. Unfortunately we have no control over import taxes to EU countries, which have come about since Brexit - they are a customs fee. We wish there was more we could do as we realise the fees are high. However, the VAT costs (something you would have paid before Brexit) are taken off on our website, which offsets a large chunk of this cost.

Hi Anne, we are sorry that you feel this way. You ordered some outerwear garments in the largest size, some of which we acknowledge are quite bulky and heavy (and advertised as so). We appreciate that they are not for everyone as a result, but we are always happy to receive returns in this situation. We have refunded your order and hope you would reconsider shopping with us in future - we have plenty of other lighter outwear garments and accessories that you might like.

Hi Carole, we are very sorry to hear that your experience with us was negative. You ordered outerwear and due to the nature of our outerwear being hand knit, we unfortunately cannot provide specific measurements as each garment may vary in size. We do encourage our customers to provide their own measurements upon checkout so that we can find the best fit for you. We understand that your order was a gift, however you are based in Italy, and we are legally required to attach a copy of the invoice (for customs purposes) for any international orders.
