The service for my brother for which we had done so much preparation was marred because the speakers were not working. Because of the COVID restrictions we had carefully chosen those who could attend the funeral and we were mortified to learn afterwards that 40% of the guests could not hear anything and felt excluded.
The occasion cannot be repeated but we feel a contribution to my brother’s chosen charity would be appropriate.
