“Growing up I was alsways told "you'll be late for your own funeral" so I did have a little chuckle when indeed, my mum was "late for her own funeral"! South Oxfordshire Crematorium is a lovely place to have a funeral, it all runs well, the music, the slide show of photos, the online video (although the quality of camera could be improved for a clearer picture) but there was nearly one hiccup! My childhood friend from Germany who was "attending" the funeral online had sent a candle to be burnt in front of the coffin. Unfortunately our undertaker, the very good Ben Tonks, was told we couldn't have a naked flame as it was a health & safety risk!! Luckily sense prevailed & after some negotiation said candle, that was in a container, was placed on a plate & the service went ahead without any further issues, albeit a few minutes late!!”

“We are forever grateful for how you made our mum's funeral an incredibly special and touching occasion. The funeral, orchestrated by Mark and his team at Peter Roberts's in Prestatyn was nothing short of beautiful, we cannot thank them enough for their amazing work. John Glover, the celebrant, truly touched our hearts with his wonderful words. Our family and friends were moved by the beauty of the service held in honor of our beloved mum, Freda. The slides and pictures, accompanied by the incredible sound system, added a truly special touch to the day. To all the staff involved, we extend our deepest gratitude for making this day one that will be cherished forever. Our mum would have been so proud. The atmosphere and decor at St Asaph provided a serene and peaceful setting for us to say our final goodbyes. Thank you for creating a space filled with love and tranquility during our time of grief. The only constructive criticism is that the toilets were not open. Family members had travelled, some were elderly which was disappointing.”

“Amber Valley Crematorium at Swanwick is a calm quiet place within excellently maintained grounds. It is very modern and comfortable and also allows for the funeral to be recorded and photos of your loved one to be shown if you so choose. Along with Russell Davidson funeral director from Thomas Greatorex and sons and Emily Broadhead our Celebrant who took my mums funeral, we were able to give my mum a truly lovely send off. I think the Crematorium do many funerals almost every hour on the hour, but we were not rushed and I feel we were able to make it special. Thank you to all the staff at the crematorium.”

“A central location in landscaped grounds with a good sized room for the service. The decor is good, as are the other facilities. The sound system allows you to have whatever music you choose and the big screen allows for photos, slide shows etc. A very good facility.”

“Our service was a lovely send off for a very special person. The place was very neat and our celebrant was excellent. She made the notes I had given her sound as though she knew him. It made for a very personal service.”

“Our first visit to Memoria for my mothers funeral, the landscaping is lovely and the inside of the crematorium was very good with soft furnished chairs and a very calm and peaceful feeling.”
