“Our experience on the whole was very good, perhaps we could have had just a bit more time afterwards as there was alot of people at the service, afterwards we felt a little rushed to leave as the next service was due to come out, but the service & facilities were excellent.”

“The last time i was at Woodside was 2015 when my father passed When I was there in august this year when my wife passed I found a big difference the interior was updated with screens new seating although they could be difficult to rise from for the not so fit overall it was much improved for what i can remember from 2015”

“The service was delivered wonderfully and not rushed. The celebrant was very kind and caring when she came to see us at home anything we needed adding on she was only a phone call away.At the end we were not rushed out. All had time for reflection. We were given a wonderful service. Thankyou all once again .”

“I had my husbands cremation service at Barnby Moor. The area is beautiful, the grounds are well kept, immaculate, great car parking facilities and the building itself it’s lovely, again immaculate, so peaceful and lovely, the large windows the decor and atmosphere, the smell of the room. So perfect. My husband passed suddenly and very unexpectedly at a young age. I rang up and spoke with Andrea as I wanted myself and my children to be as prepared as much as possible. We went for a visit to look around and was very happy with the venue. Andrea was lovely and the others were constantly working to keep the grounds etc in its immaculate condition. The service itself was faultless, they really did my husband and our family proud along with the funeral directors. Thank you so much for your kindness at such a difficult time. I would recommend Memoria at Barnby Moor ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“A very peaceful venue,excellent seeating arrangements in the main area Unfortunately the microphone was not working so no one was able to hear the words said on behalf of a loved father and grandfather.This was very very disappointing. I have been to 3 other funerals here and the same problem occurred. Afterwards there were many elderly people wishing to speak to the bereaved family,myself included as I'm almost 90 years old,so some seating at the exit woul have been appreciated.”

“All aspects of the service from funeral director to crematorium staff handled with respect and dignity.The interior of the crematorium has been tastefully upgraded which helps to reduce the anxiety of the occasion. Overall a very satisfactory outcome to a stressful day.”

“It was my first time using Memoria. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of everything, the landscaping, the car park and the crematorium itself. It was beautifully set out, just as we had ordered and everything went perfectly. I had comments afterwards from people who said it was a lovely funeral in a beautiful place. So, thanks again Memoria, Kirkleatham.”

“Really lovely location, well set up and well run with a lovely light and airy ceremony room with good screens for our picture slideshow/good audio for the songs we played - it made everything very easy and it all worked very well with our Funeral Service people (Greens of Witney - also excellent). Would thoroughly recommend both the venue and Greens.”
