“The buying process is easy, the delivery service and customer service needs some work. I opted for delivery by the shop as it was free. Took the day off work to await delivery. 16:55 arrived and no sign of the aquarium(store closes at 17:00) . I called Lincs and was told it was on the list to be delivered. I asked for a estimated time and got a abrupt ‘don’t know’ response. I then asked if they could call the driver to ask them as I had plans for the evening. Then I got a even more abrupt ‘NO’ reply. Then the call ended. It finally arrived around 7pm. I think if they gave a 2/3 hour time slot it would be better as it doesn’t ruin your whole day.”

Hi Darren, I am sorry to hear that you have had a bad experience! Our logistics team do call the day before to confirm delivery and should be able to provide you with a morning or afternoon slot. The problem we have with providing time slots is that we do not know what is going to happen on the road. As we deliver large tanks these can take a few minutes to 30-45 mins depending on where the tank is going we are also at the mercy of traffic as well. With regards to you being told no we cannot contact the driver this is not correct and will re-explain to all staff that we can contact the driver for an ETA. We are constantly working to try and improve our delivery service and we will take your comments on board and try and improve where we can.
