“The bird food is fine but the standard of customer service is not. They may very well be extraordinarily busy at the moment but I didn't receive any offer of help or explanation when the courier delivered one box to the old address, not two and the courier label on it implied I had been short delivered. The other box had been delivered to the address I asked the entire order to be redirected to. I have solved the problem but companies should not be so hasty in asking for plaudits.”

I'm sorry to hear that you disappointed with our customer service. However, I don't believe you emailed or called to advise us that DPD had not delivered as they should have done. “The catalogue of products was easy to navigate with plenty of information. It took me a while to get to the checkout because I did not realise the little basket at the top of the page would get me there. The delivery was fine.”

“The products are great - but the plastic liner in the large boxes of suet pellets is still woefully inadequate. The quality used to be much better. Although it is said that the new liners are being used for recycling reasons, this seems disingenuous as I'm sure the previous quality would be equally recyclable. Keeping the product in the box is not viable, as this attracts rats. Such hard work to transfer them.. the liner/bags split almost immediately. It's making me think twice about ordering again.”

We state on our website that the liner is to protect the box from suet leaking onto to it, it is not a carry sack and should not be pulled out of the box.

“While the product is fine the buying experience has been a nightmare. The courier failed to find us on three delivery days (failing to get within half a mile of us), and then claimed I had requested the delivery be delayed a further day (untrue). I contacted Ivel to see if they could do anything and they promised to re-dispatch that day or the next (Thursday). On Friday it was dispatched. This time they managed to deliver but, despite me telling the driver we were away, our safe place instructions were ignored and the product and the parcel was left in the rain.”
