I ordered 4 Hampers for my compnay that were supposed to be delivered between 16th and 23rd December. Only three were received on the 24th December and I only found out that they were going to be late because I had to chase them. One Hamper was not delivered at all. I called to find out what happened on Tuesday 5th January. It is now late afternoon on Friday 7th January and no-one has got back to me to let me know why the fourth hamper was not delivered. As a customer, I should not be the one having to chase why the hamper was not received. I am not happy with the service I have been given.

There were no updates waited two weeks to arrive hampers did not contain things that went off soon? Did not arrive between the times I was told. Didn't arrive until xmas eve by which time i had purchased other gifts as no reply to my emails re delivery

Hi Justin We apologise we did not meet our usual high standards. Every customer's gifting experience is important to us. We quality check and monitor all our items to ensure our items do not have short expiration dates. Additionally, we do include instructions for perishable items such as meats and cheese. I believe in this case, one of your hampers contained cheese which requires refrigeration upon receipt. I'd leave 0 stars if I could. I ordered a gift for my parents in law for Christmas. The delivery was to be made by Christmas (Dec 6th-23rd) but there was no word from them and the order status was "Processing" even after the new year. They sent me an email on Jan 5th finally to say they've dispatched it without responding to my previous msgs asking what is happening. What's the point of a Chritmas gift now. I'm sure the product itself is fine but their customer service isn't great. So we called them asking for a refund and initially they said no. But with abit of patience we did get them to agree. However they did not let us know how this will be processed or when it will be done. So we had to give them another. As a customer service rep, you should make sure to give us all the necessary information possible in one call to prevent further frustration for the customer. Needless to say, I won't be ordering from them again any time soon.

I join the list of disappointed customers. Ordered a hamper 8th Dec. order No.100240840, decided not to go with specified delivery day as the website advises orders placed will be delivered by 23rd Dec. 21st Dec. no tracking number received so called the office but it was closed. Sent an email, no response so called on 22nd to be told that I shouldn't worry as all orders not yet delivered would be "accelerated to guaranteed next day delivery" told I would receive a tracking number by the end of the day. Again no tracking number received so called the office again Christmas Eve and after a long hold while they checked I was informed that due to a computer error my order was not printed off or processed and therefore hadn't been sent. I asked why my emails hadn't been responded to and was told they were too busy to check emails and had a backlog of over 400 !!! The order finally arrived 30th Dec. it did include a handwritten note of apology and some extra chocolates but this really isn't good enough as the whole idea of buying a hamper for Christmas is that it arrives in time for Christmas, particularly in these times of covid when we cannot see the family it was purchased for. A written apology and a refund would be the best outcome but I won't hold my breath.........

AVOID…. Seems I’ve had the same issue as everyone else this month, ordered 8th December for guaranteed delivery before 23rd December. No hamper and no communication either! I’ve sent 3 emails, all of which have been ignored. I can’t comment on the hamper itself as it never turned up, but customer service is non existent so I’d give this company an extremely wide berth if I was you. I’m extremely annoyed as like most other people, this hamper was bought as a gift for family members who have now not received anything. Baffles me that their website states they are ‘still taking orders’ because they clearly cannot keep up with them! Maybe focus on the orders you already have!

If I could give zero stars I would. The first order was still processing a week later, seemed the payment was held. The second order was placed with the option to deliver in time for Christmas. I then got told that option shouldn’t have been available and it wouldn't arrive in time. I cancelled. I then received a delivery notification, followed by a missed delivery notification, and when I called the delivery company to query it, Hay Hampers had called them to request the parcel be returned to their warehouse. I get not delivering something that hasn’t been paid for but for it to have been packed and shipped to then be cancelled was a joke.

Ordered on the 14th December and have had no dispatch email or confirmation the hamper has been delivered. It is now the 23rd Dec and I was promised it would be delivered by then. I sent a follow up email and have heard nothing as well. Unacceptable as this was a christmas present for my aunt.

On the 23rd we experienced an issue that delayed a few order deliveries and our team quickly upgraded the deliveries to Priority AM Next Working Day. We understand this wasn't ideal however we hope you can understand that we reacted quickly to resolve the issue and ensure your order was received in time for Christmas. As the other reviewers have stated...no hamper! The hamper was ordered on 7th December. I've not received the 'promised' dispatch confirmation email. When I emailed Hay Hampers on 21st December to chase this up, I got what read like a generic email response, saying: "Thank you for your email. I’ve just checked your order in our system, and can see that it was placed for delivery in time for Christmas. This can mean delivery will take place any time up to the 23rd December. We are anticipating that it should be dispatched today(21st), for delivery tomorrow. (22nd)" Well, the hamper has still not arrived at it's destination. Nor have I received any dispatch confirmation email. I tried emailing twice today (23rd) but, nothing. Zilch! Nada! I can only guess they've all gone on their Christmas break now, without a care in the world. Well ... MERRY (f&@!$) CHRISTMAS TO YOU, HAY HAMPERS

I can see from your order details, the order was selected for the "In time for Christmas" delivery, your order experienced a 24-hour delay due to an internal issue. Our customer service team picked up on this and upgraded your order to priority AM Next Day Delivery and your parcel were delivered on 24/12/21. We understand this is later than planned however we hope you understand and can forgive us for our initial mistake but understand we care about every gifting experience and hamper. Really disappointed, my colleagues & I chipped together and we ordered on 1st Dec for a Christmas gift for another colleague and chose the delivery by Christmas option, not heard anything since. Emailed last week only to be fobbed off with a cut & paste response, we have now finished work until new year & nothing has arrived, so no gift for our colleague! Doesn't take over 3 weeks to make up and send a small hamper, very poor service, will not use again!!

Awful, Hamper had hardly anything in it two packets of biscuits a bit of salmon and some salami for £30🤬 I have had to buy extra to put in it, will not be buying from them again.

Purchased 5 hampers for guaranteed delivery before Christmas (today last date). Emailed on 14th December to see if I could get an idea of what dare and told they will arrive before today and I would receive a dispatch email ahead of time. No dispatch email received and no sign of the hampers. No reply to my email chasers and no answer via telephony. Not much hope they are coming today. Happy to delete this review if they turn up.

Really disappointed. Ordered four Christmas Hampers 12 days ago - not last minute - which were not delivered within the timeframe given (today.) No customer contact, no replies to emails, no guarantee that delivery would be made before Christmas. Very dissatisfied with service and certainly wouldn't recommend or use again.

Ordered a present for my dad for Christmas on the 8th December and not arrived. Poor customer service telling me my order would be shipped, it wasn’t, then ignored and not willing to look into issue. Do not use this company unless you want to be disappointed and let down

Hi Ian Apologies for the delay in the hamper delivery. Unfortunately, we experienced issues that delayed some of the hamper deliveries. I have checked your order details and can see that your shipment was delivered on 24/12/2021, 24 hours later than scheduled. I spoke to the Customer Services Manager and the delivery delay was picked up promptly by our Customer Service team and the order upgraded to AM priority delivery so it was in time for Christmas. We apologise that it was not our usual high standard gifting experience and hope that you will give us another opportunity to make this right. Thanks Hannah

We ordered our Hamper in November and paid for the named delivery date to ensure it arrived in good time for Christmas. Unfortunately it not only missed this delivery date it looks unlikely that it will arrive in time for Christmas.
