“I recently purchased 2 tubes of Secure denture bonding cream. It has the virtue of holding my dentures securely for a good number of hours. Unfortunately, it also leaves an insoluble white deposit that collects overnight after cleaning and soaking in water. The deposit tends to collect in the small interstices of the denture which were made by the impression moulding process. Being insoluble in water, it is difficult to remove. It is tough enough to resist removal with a brush, especially from space-confined parts of the denture. Eventually I have removed it using a plastic kitchen tool and it took me several minutes. The process is most inconvenient and I have decided to use a slightly less effective but water soluble cream in future.”
