“The brush is great but I spent £6 for 24 hr delivery that took 5 days. I could have ordered elsewhere much cheaper but did it here for the speedy delivery as it was a gift needed before my daughter returned to college. It was late. Now I need to pay to have it sent to her. Total pain. No communication.”

“It is not the same quality as the previous brush. The bristles are much sharper and the material is a different material. Disappointed in the quality.”

“Brush arrived quickly, but bristles were so stiff that brushing was painful. Had my wife and sister, both of whom have much thicker hair, try it and they both said the same thing.”

“I think the brushes aren't anything more special than what I could purchase in a store and feel and see before purchasing. I think to make purchase of brushes online really work, there needs to be free shipping both ways and better return policies. I can't see coming back here for another purchase. Your follow up emails do nothing to alleviate those most important issues.”

“This brush is very small the picture is so deceiving it and doesn’t even go through my hair- the bristles are so soft- it’s basically useless. I should’ve returned it.”

Hello Michelle, thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear your new D82 brush was unsuitable for your needs. Our D82 finisher is designed to glide over the hair to add shine and polish the hair. Our D81 brush is similar in that it has natural bristle but also longer nylon pins which penetrate the hair to help with styling. “I was disappointed with the 2 brushes I bought to replace my 10yr old Paul Mitchell brushes. The only problem was their soft pad had split. The "balled" tips were still intact and gentle on my scalp. Your brushes are very sharp and scratchy on my scalp. Sorry I bought both of them... “Bought this as I already have one in a smaller size. After using ,it has not much grip,bristles too soft and made hair fly away. Also measurements misleading as shows top of brush 53mm when arrived was 65mm so got wrong size not what I wanted but not worth the cost of sending back. Extremely dissatisfied .”

“I have medium-thickness hair somewhere between wavy and curly. I wasn't looking for a miracle with this brush. However, after spending $30 between the brush and the shipping to receive it, I certainly expected the brush to remain in one piece when using it. I can easily run my fingers through my hair, but even when my hair is wet and conditioned, the rubber refuses to stay in the handle of the brush. I have to palm the entire brush instead of the handle to keep the bristles in place. I'm unsure if it's just the black/black version with this issue, but I'm beyond bummed to spend this much money on something that doesn't stay assembled in use.”

“Wet brush has no grip on the handle. This is a major design flaw. If hands are wet when brushing wet hair with the wet brush then it becomes very difficult and slippery to use.”

“I had to return everything in my order because the plastic used for the combs is rough and not smoothed on the teeth, therefore scratching the scalp when used. Was not very impressed with the quality at all, and on top of that had to pay for return shipping after having already paid the initial shipping fee to receive my products. Have ultimately lost money on this purchase, none of which I actually kept. This was particularly surprising and disappointing to me given I use the very popular and beloved 7-row denman styling brush on my curly hair and thought other denman brushes/combs would be of equal quality. They were not. :(”
