I bought the banana jaw hair clip and unfortunately the plastic split after only a few weeks.

I think it's great for what it is, but the nylon bristles are VERY scratchy. I don't consider myself to have a sensitive scalp, although I do get flaking every now and then and these nylon bristles are quite sharp on the scalp. That's my only qualm with it though I'll keep using it I just can't Use it too hard on the scalp area.

I bought the power paddle brush and it wasn’t as good a quality as I was expecting. Contemplated returning but didn’t want pay the postage to return so have kept it.

Brush is fine, but the 'Denman' logo on the back of the brush gets lost in the wildflower design. Print also looks a bit poor quality.

It appears I ordered the wrong brush for a gift. This brush does not go to the scalp and that is what I wanted for the gift recipient. So, this brush doesn't meet the needs of the person.

I love everything about the brush except the long spikey bristles. I wish they were shorter and set a little deeper into the boar bristle. I find them uncomfortable on my scalp. I do not have a sensitive scalp.

I’ll start by saying my experience with customer service was definitely 5 star! My Customer Service representative Jill was very attentive. She listened to my concerns and immediately went into action replacing my brush with no hassle. I’m giving 3 stars because Denman brushes are not the same. As a licensed professional, I’ve been using REAL Denman brushes for years (purchasing from a pro beauty store), and they always held up. My brushes would last me years. However, with the purchases made between this year and last year, I noticed my brushes have not been lasting longer than a few months! I faithfully use the D38 detangling & styling paddle and the D3 original curl definer and styler and I can’t help but feel like maybe I should start trying out other brush companies whose brushes can stand the test of time.

The brush seems to be of good quality however I found the nylon bristles too sharp, it would hurt my sensitive scalp.

The quality of these brushes and combs are not the same as the ones I purchased in the past. They’re now flimsy and cheaply made. I still have a brush I purchased about 15 years ago and the ones I recently purchased don’t stand a chance.

Unfortunately for me this isn't suitable for my hair. I have very fine hair and this is just too harsh for my scalp. Fortunately my granddaughter has very thick hair and she thinks it's wonderful as it goes through her mane! so it hasn't gone to waste. Very nice compact size and like the colour way, far more innovative than dull black..
