“Criminal injuries reached out to me and helped me through the process of realising I'm worth more than being a victim of Domestic violence, I have strength as a survivor and I am still recovering and getting back to knowing who I am, what I like, what I want and what makes me happy as I had forgotten all these things as I had been made to feel like I didn't matter, I was worthless and wasn't allowed to be happy and now by giving me back hope and a feeling that I do matter Criminal injuries have put me back on a path where I can go forwards and reclaim my worth.”

“Customer service Lucy explained and listened. This is a sensitive matter as it is dealing with people, s true life. Quite traumatic for some as it opens up the scars, wounds trauma again. At the end of it all everyone deserves some kind of justice.”

“My first call to the Helpline wasnt helpful at all so I tried again and spoke to a lovely lady Chianne Codie Bryne, she was very helpful,kind and understanding. Having experienced abuse its vitally important for the person on the line to have that compassion and listen so you feel your voice is being heard, and she gave me that. My application is in process, so fingers crossed it will be successful.”
