“There was no empathy, very blunt and not great when you’re reliving a lot of traumatic experiences! There needs to be more care and compassion when dealing with victims! Wasn’t a good experience”

“Refused to help me and apparently it happened to long ago for them to help but never told me this till getting every last bit of information out of me. I suffer from severe PTSD from my sexual assault and they have brought everything back up with their ridiculous questions. I don't not recommend whatsoever. Useless and unhelpful.”

“I have spoken to them on several occasions throughout the years. In 2020 and 2024. I left my abuser in 2019. My abuser was sentence in October 2024 for Coercive and Controlling behaviour. Yet every time I have spoken to Criminal Injuries, they tell me Corerive and Controlling behaviour isn't covered. It is an umbrella term for everything to do with domestic violence. It's too late now for me now anyway, I was fobbed off when I spoke to them back in 2020.”

“Just got off the phone with an advisor who was rude, just because I asked her politley to repeat a question she said OK then thank you and put the phone down. She was of Asian decent and her acent wasn't clear so I asked for her to repeat it. I'm very upset and distraught with her attitude!!!!!”

“U ve written 2 me stating u can help me 4 a historical claim then told 8 could nt hace it u ll b pleased 2 no 7 set my ptsd 9ff badly yesterday and I m really upset 8 was a child victim of abuse but could nt tell anybody 8 m just a nothing 2 you so why say ure entitled 2 t money then refused it 8 feel like really ending this life of mine because nobody cares this includes u I m a broken up person crying death can t come quick enough 4 me it's all empty promises xx”

“No one has helped me. I was abused but due to the time limit I was not entitled to any compensation. I keep getting emails and seeing people who got compensation. I also spoke to the police and it is now in prison. I wasn't the only one who got abused by this person”

“From 2014 I put a claim in for ptsd I had no criminal record I even seeked help for my mental health at the time told them how I feel they left me to deteriorate in the community it was done purposely so my claim was jeopardised going on for years the claim they kept prolonging it then boom commited a crime due to my ptsd and let down by mental health services they had cheek to tell me I had my compo in hospital they have no idea how inhumane them places are pure evil ! I deserve my claim because at the time I put throw for the claim I had no record they have cheek to send people email about ptsd they know how it works and they take advantage of it so they don’t have to pay u your services have done nothing but caused me pain”

“Taken 35% of my interim payment and my final settlement after stating on the bottom of the letter that they wouldn’t take any more fees after taking their 35% but they did I feel cheated out of money that could of gone towards the reconstruction of my facial scarring”
