“Perhaps you should ask me again when I actually receive the dust pouches I am still waiting for them to arrive it's been more than a month since I ordered them I have received a five pounds refund because I have waited a long time but they have not arrived yet”

In every case we dispatch orders within 1-2 working days only to find they have disappeared in the Royal Mail backlog for long periods of time. Our profound apologies for the poor service you have received. Your items were dispatched from us on Nov 8th, the second working day after your order was placed. To our regret we have found the Post Office strikes have caused many delays for shipping orders. Whilst this is completely out of our control it is causing many of our customers to have delayed items. This is turn has caused many more customers to contact our help team which has lead to longer than normal response time to customer emails. We regret both these shipping delays and the problems we are having replying to customers in a timely way. We are a small family business who pride ourselves on a high level of customer service. Unfortunately the current situation with the Royal Mail has caused problems beyond our control. We are trying very hard to do our best by all our customers through what is an unprecendented difficult time. “A very cleverly designed vacuum incorporating high tech wizardry to a domestic product. Like anything man has made it’s always open to refinements as time goes buy. Unfortunately ours has broken for the very simple reason a replacement bag was not seated perfectly when the hinged opening was secured with the small clasp. Pressing the clasp shut broke then the clip on the suction side of the appliance. Owners are advised to be extra vigilant to prevent a repetition of our mistake. The clasp could with hindsight be modified to give greater strength and the bag seating adapted to ensure correct placement. Meanwhile our model now languishes in the cupboard under the stairs wishing for a Halo to make it better.”

“This is the second time my halo capsule has gone wrong during guarantee. I also have a dyson thank goodness as you have to send the item back and wait… and wait..my dyson has gone wrong too before and their return procedure is quicker and less frustrating. Product wise - the halo is ok (when working) but heavier than the dyson though the pick up is good. Not sure if I would buy again because if the lengthy returns procedure.”

“Yes. I am pleased with my Halo purchase. I can now manage to use the machine as it's so much lighter than my other one. My only regret is that I didn't purchase a machine that does not need a bag but at the time I didn't realise that such a thing existed. My cleaning lady loves it.”

“Third head head for this vacuum in two years. The first was replaced under warranty, but this one I’ve had to pay for. The substandard Flexi hose has perished both times and is not available to buy separately, so it seems like I’ll have to replace the hole head (£50) on a yearly basis, OUCH! Not great for the environment either, haven’t to buy a lot more plastic than is really necessary. I wouldn’t recommend buy a Halo Capsule because of this. Shame really as apart from this problem it’s great.”

“I have sent back my capsule clean as the first time I used it I could hear a loud sound as I was using it. When I looked at my floor it has taken the corner off my laminate in three places. I phoned your customer services and I was told this has never happened before and your development department would contact me. I heard nothing so I rejected the vacuum and have had my money back but did not even get an apology for my ruined floor. I have had a Bosch for years and now have a dyson neither machine has damaged my floor.”

“We also find it heavy and top heavy , it does a super job on the eco setting last a full clean, the only question i ask and are still waiting an answer is the bag supplied with the machine is different to the ones supplied, its smaller for one thing , still waiting an answer from customer service”

Hi Wayne, The dust pouch supplied with your Capsule is in addition to the pouches that came with your bundle deal and is fitted at the factory to make sure your Capsule doesn't get accidentally used without a bag when it is first unpacked. It's manufactured in a slightly different way as it comes to us from a different supplier but, despite appearances is actually the same size and specification as the other pouches. The other pouches in your bundle are fitted in your box in our Suffolk distribution centre just before dispatch depending on which bundle you have purchased. Hi There, Thank you so much for you review. We are sorry to hear you are not 100% satisfied with your Capsule. If you are experiencing overheating we would always recommend changing your dust pouch in the first instance. Sometimes, even when the pouch does not look full the amount of fine dust that is collected when you first use Capsule in your home can cause it to block more quickly than will be normal after Capsule has been used regularly. If the probem persists we would then recommend washing your pre-filter as per your User Guide. This is normally only required very infrequently.
