“The products are great and so far, deliveries have always arrived when they were expected to. But the process is a bit shambolic. You place an order and immediately get a confirmation e-mail back. Then. Nothing. The tumbleweed starts blowing around as you wait for signs that anything is happening. I placed an order a week ago, and apart from that initial confirmation, I have heard nothing, despited this beeing a reasonably significant order. RM needs to improve its customer experience by keeping people better informed of the progress with their orders and when they can expect to receive their goods.”

“Dealing with the Royal Mint was easy and efficient BUT my £25,000 EXPRESS DELIVERY BY DHL WAS A DISASTER. ROYAL MINT to BRISTOL to MIDLANDS to ABERDEEN to MIDLANDS to BRISTOL to me just 20 miles south of Bristol... and I waited in a whole day when tracking said it would be delivered... even at the end of that day when it was in ABERDEEN. A call to the RM confirmed that it would not be delivered as it was in Scotland. RM call person very helpful and efficient. So another half day spent waiting for delivered 3 days later. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. DISAPPOINTING! WORRYING!”
“Four of the silver Britannia coins I bought (minted) - had some major imperfections - ie in the face of the King - and whilst I was assured on a few occasions by your customer service staff, that this would not affect the value, I still think the standard for minting is lower than I would have thought for the Royal Mint.”

- No updates in account, no tracking number, no transparency
- Only after chasing support multiple times was I told the order was “allocated” – still not dispatched
- No explanation given for the 3-day delay before even starting to process the order
- Clearly, “1–5 days” really means 5 – misleading and frustrating
- Needed the item as a gift by Wednesday – their delay made that impossible
- Poor communication, no urgency, and no compensation offered despite the inconvenience”
“Lovely coin, everything as described apart of delivery serivce. I was not in home at the time of delivery and the package wouldn’t fit into letterbox, so royal mail courier has forged my signature and left it unattended by front door, even though I have requested to take it to post office.”
