“I love Purition and have been using it for about two years now. I order from the VEGAN range and really like Almond, Pistachio and Cinnamon (when it's available) and also now Cherry Bakewell. I also use another protein shake and mix the two which works for me. They're delicious. I do wish however, that it was possible to buy in bulk and pay less as it's not cheap. I do take advantage of the 'buy 4' offer but even so I would happily buy more each time to save on the cost per pouch. The only other point I wanted to mention was that with the Cherry Bakewell formula, the chewy pieces of cherry are lovely, but sometimes they're a bit big so you need to be careful not to choke on them :) It would be better if the cherry pieces were smaller. Otherwise very happy with Purition and will continue to purchase it. Thank you.”

(We hope we can reassure you regarding our Cherry Flavour:
We use freeze-dried acerola cherry powder and not whole cherries or fruit pieces - Our cherry Bakewell flavour is the first time that we are using freeze-dried cherry powder and we have learnt that this fruit powder is more prone to absorb moisture than other freeze-dried fruit powders we use and when it absorbs moisture, it tends to clump together as you have experienced...
Unfortunately, the only way to stop this is to add an anti-caking agent to the freeze-dried fruit powder which is something we want to avoid at all costs.
The main reason for this is that we want to continue to champion natural, whole-food ingredients without additives, gums, thickeners or emulsifiers.
Unfortunately, the clumping that you have experienced is the compromise that we face... We hope that the clumps are not too much of a nuisance (we find that blending Purition for a good 30-40 seconds results in the smoothest consistency) and thank you for your kind feedback on them! )

“The market for instant meals/shakes was covered recently on a radio show, which prompted much research into Huel, Purition etc. I decided to try the trial pack of Purition (the cheapest multi-pack offering), and so far so good.
The Purition offering seems to be the healthiest, purest option, which I buy into. Also, I like nutty, savoury things which is a good job. I don't want too much sweetness.
I just bought a Breville blender for £18 off Amazon to make the shakes/smoothies. I have also added Purition to porridge and fruit for a really filling breakie. I'm sure there will be more varations.
I like the taste and maybe I can lose some weight too. I'm time poor and tend to fall back on rubbish in the fridge. I'm honest with myself in that at the moment I have no time to cook one square meal a day let alone three. I found the Purition smoothie quite filling, and I feel better for having had something healthy instead of processed or sugary stuff. Plus I love the tastes, subtle but nice. If you think marmalade with rind in is the spawn of satan, this product is not for you!
Good start then, and good enough to have bought big bags this time round.”

“I love this stuff!!! I have never been one for shakes but I Truly love the taste. I have a shake and some fruit at around 11.30am and it sees me through to dinner time. No bloated feeling after lunch and this helps as my job is on the road and you do not want a sluggish tired feeling that a sandwich gives you.”

To answer your question: We use the same size of bag for 1kg vegan proteins and 700g whey proteins.
As a small company, we need to maximise one bag size across multiple designs to get the best pricing for the packaging and we can only fit 700g of whey into the same size bag as it is less dense than the vegan proteins (so, it takes up more room and we could not fit more into the bag).
