“I mainly fly foamies and wanted an old school balsa plane , this DPR seemed to fit the bill and wheelspin were a lot cheaper than the opposition . Delivered quickly and kept informed on progress , Plane fun to put together , i am about 80% done at moment . I have knockedone star off as i feel to much flex in the control rods and will make some mew ones with a bit more beef .”

“Ordering easy website easy only issue I find is delivery is very slow if I find same product else were I buy from them as get product next day when building I don't want to be waiting a week for parts & not going to pay more for quick delivery as most company's cost the same with free delivery”

“I’ve used Wheelspin for numerous builds now. Their items are competitively priced and the website makes sourcing parts easy. I’ve emailed for information several times, and the staff have always been extremely helpful. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the £100 threshold for free delivery feels quite high.”

“Hi, I have been building and running rc cars since the 1980s, my first car was a Grasshopper, it captured my imagination and taught me patience from building the car, I also spent many hours in those days building lorry kits and military vehicle kits in later years this led to me owning military vehicles and attending the 1994 D-Day landings celebrations, wheelspin have been so far the only company that is able to meet my requirements for my modeling projects, I have tried to use local suppliers without any success, my latest project is the Savage XL nitro and I can't wait to run this monster 😀”

“My experience with wheelspin has been excellent and I couldn’t recommend them enough for there services but I had an issues with the currier DPD.on my recent order it took 4 attempts by DPD(same driver every time)to eventually deliver my parcel due to the driver needing a pin number to enable them to deliver the package as he couldn’t be bothered to get the attention of any of my colleagues in my place of work or come and find me . On each occasion my time slot was between 13:00-14:00(so lunch time!). On each attempt i was having my lunch and the driver couldn’t be bothered to find anyone on the premises and just dumped a sorry we missed you leaflet and done a runner, he couldn’t get out of the yard quick enough looking at cctv. Would of given 5 stars but maybe requiring a pin for delivery isn’t ideal for everyone’s circumstances.”

“Items are great as usual and shipped next day. They guys and girls at Wheelspin are always excellent. However since they changed to using Royal Mail as express courier, there has always been issues with the delivery. I know that’s not Wheelspin model’s fault but since they changed from DPD I have ordered a lot less from them than I used to. Favouring companies that don’t use Royal Mail. It’s always a hassle now. I have emailed and requested DPD which they have done without hesitation (I have to pay a further delivery cost on top) but again, it’s something else that shouldn’t need to be done. If Wheelspin went back to DPD or had it in the postage option, then I would be back to them being my primary supplier.”

“If one order parts outside of the UK, be very careful with the extra tariffs applied for each country it comes in. For an order of around 150 pounds I had to pay an extra 50 euros of customs when it arrived to Italy a month after, almost a 1/3 of the original price which is completely unacceptable and exaggerated. The service and availability from Wheelspin is great and reliable. Its a shame that these tariffs are in place, causing me to reconsider ordering again.”
