“I have used these before some years ago (but they were melted during the summer of 40c in London!) so I was replacing them.
The instructions are quite long winded for what is a few steps, but I appreciate the effort as a lot can go wrong!
Applying is like making pancakes: the first isnt as good as the rest! So get practice in if you can.
I did notice some specks on the adhesive side before separating - it was lucky i noticed before applying! So I advise you to check the film before unpeeling so you can return it if damaged/has contaminiation that would be stuck under the film forever!
As for the film - it does the job: gives privacy and lets most light in.
Tip: I leave a centimetre gap on either side so I can see out into the garden if i need to, but not enough to jeapardise the privacy.”

If you followed the fitting instructions you shouldn't get any bubbles at all.
Bubbles occur when the film has not been squeegeed enough to ensure all the water and air have been removed.

“Very very tricky to put on. The bit that peels off is on the inside and therefore very difficult to place the sticky side on the glass whilst trying to keep it straight and peel off the paper underneath it!
Also we weren’t expecting it to be sticky as the one we had previously peeled straight off as it wasn’t sticky. Hope this doesn’t leave glue all over the glass should we need to remove it.
Nice pattern and opaque to see through but lets the light in.”

We can appreciate that there is a knack to fitting the film but we always advise to leave plenty of time and prepare really well.
The film can be removed and the glass will be the same as before you fitted it. To remove we recommend heating gently with a hairdryer and peeling away from one corner, you may need to use a glass scraper to help you. Any residue from the adhesive left on the glass can then be removed using a soft cloth and white spirit. Finally wash the windows with warm soapy water.

“The positives;
Arrived really quickly and looks great.
The negative: one of the two identically pieces a few mm different( bigger)and not square to the perfect piece and was difficult to fit. We had to trim and have ended up with a 100mm crease line in it.
The perfect size piece fits like a glove and fitting was a cinch!!

“The window films are of a very high quality and once they have been fixed to the window in question the door does look very attractive. However peeling the back off is very dificult. There should be a crease in the flim to ease removal.”

“We are happy that an internal glass door is now up to safety standards . However my friend followed the instructions to the letter and the window was cleaned thoroughly several times before fitting and as instructed used the solution liberally "you can't use too much" and we are left with bubble marks quite endearing. We assume this is down to the age of the glass involved which maybe not as smooth as it might be.
We have added decorative film to distract from this.”

“Quality product with fantastic, professional looking end result. The process of fitting, although well-described in the instructions, is not easy. A small sample to try first would be very useful, in order to understand the process, especially the need to ensure both window surface and both sides of the film, are completely free of particles, peeling off the backing and flipping the film around. This would minimise wastage through errors. Not cheap but a good finish.”

“Samples arrived swiftly with an extra sample supplied too at no extra cost. The one we wanted to work was the ‘white out’ for a conservatory roof, however it was shiny and that was unexpected. The blackout was ideal with a ‘Matt’ finish but this is too harsh a colour for our needs.
Can’t use any ‘see through’ options as our roof windows are badly marked and the idea was to disguise this using window film. Shame we don’t seem to have found the solution.”

My only comment is that it is not clear with standard sizes whether the dimensions are width x height or height x width (the difference is significant for patterns where the “up” direction is important). Confusion can be avoided by ordering panels cut to size where you specify height x width..”
