“The packaging was poor as the roll of film was quite damaged. The first bit I put up was so scratched it looked awful. Luckily I had ordered enough to replace with another bit. It has now dried and you can still see a bit of damage at nighttime but it’s ok.”

We are so sorry to hear that the film you ordered was damaged in transit and you felt the packing was poor and may have contributed to the issue. If you had contacted us when it delivered and emailed a couple of pictures we would of course sent replacement film free of charge.

“Arrived promptly and look great. However, the fitting guidance is for tinted car windows whereas our decorated film is clearly for interior glass. I fitted the first 2 self adhesive Victorian window film sheets poorly leaving bubbles when trying to align the pattern. They would have looked great if I had fitted them properly, but I’ll have to buy some more. Disappointed, that I didn’t do a good job.
We also ordered precut MX02 film sheets for other interior glass, but these don’t have a peelable backing and I have no idea how to fit them. I’ll contact Abode soon on that.”

The good news is that you liked the look of the films you had ordered but we are sorry you had trouble fitting the film. The Window Film fitting instructions are on the reverse of the Vehicle Tinting Instructions which we're sure would have made the fitting process easier had you realised and hopefully left you with a perfect finish.
The MX02 panels definitely have a finer clear liner that needs to be removed before fitting and we will contact you privately to give you further advice and discuss the issues you've encountered.

If on receipt of your order you think the film is not the size you requested we would advise that you contact us so that we can investigate and send a replacement if this necessary. The film should have been produced to the exact size you ordered.
Please send a picture of what you have received with a tape measure alongside showing the dimensions and we will be happy to look into for you.

“Product was heavy duty and does the job but was very hard to apply, leaving wrinkles and bubbles even when applied by a professional builder with me (client) in support. Not sure if it's down to the product or the workmanship but it will need replacing...”

“I purchased 2 rolls of UV window protection and I'm very happy with the result now that they've been fitted. No issues with the product but there was no confirmation email or communication from the company once purchased and I was close to cancelling my order. I'm sure it wouldn't take much for them to let you know the order is in place?”

We apologise that delivery was slow, this can occasionally happen at this time of year when the amount of post in the system increases.
If you were to order again and need a quicker, more urgent delivery you can always opt and pay for the Express, Next Day service rather than the the free standard one.

“It was good quality stuff, but it wasn't easy to fit, especially if you follow their instructions about how to remove the backing paper from the film. Turning it over and trying to stick it to the window didn't work for me, and resulted in the film getting hopelessly stuck to itself, which has produced a permanent line in the film that it was impossible to get rid of.”

The film you have ordered is designed to be fitted to glass and not perspex which most probably explains any difficulties you may have had with the fitting process. Some customers choose to fit it to perspex knowing it isn't compatible and that it invalidates the warranty, it is a chance they take and we can't recommend doing this. We do hope though that the film has done the job you wanted it to, although you found the fitting of it a little difficult.

“Unfortunately I found the film very hard to manipulate and abandoned trying to install. It's definitely a two person job but I didn't have anyone to help and the film is very sticky and easily marked. I have located some water based film which was much easier to deal with. I just don't feel this way the kind of film I was looking for and so just not suitable for what I needed. It also had.bo instructions so maybe I was going about handling it the wrong way. The film was recommended to me so I know others have found it fine.”

“Fab service, arrived when they said it would , we applied it ourselves , followed the easy to use instructions and it went up like a dream but the next morning it had a few runs in it and when we went to smooth it out it creased 😢 tried to rectify it but it just went from bad to worse for us , I was gutted ,as we were going to do all the windows , don't know what we did wrong but it was a costly mistake 😭 it looked so nice when it first went up , in hindsight we should have ordered a little bit more to practice on a small window first .”
“Hi…. I used your film as a window tint for my vw camper, but it doesn’t seem to be the same copper colour that your advert shows, more of a darker brown and not so see through as your photo shows.”
“Although the film arrived on schedule and was a good price, half of the film itself was crinkled and was unusable.
Fortunately, I didn't need all of the film for purpose and I was able to complete the task without a problem.”
“Window film arrived in good time from order. However, one of the four sheets had an indentation that could be observed and also a small fibre was stuck between the layers. I was unable to remove. I have used the window film and the mark and fibre are there but not visible to the casual observer, but I know they are!!.”
