In regard to your offer amount, unfortunately, we wouldn't be able to make offers based on the retail value of an item. The items are assessed based on age, condition, quality and authenticity, and how much we anticipate them generating on the second hand resale market, which was in line with the offer that was made. “Ok if you are happy to sell for not a great amount,very low offers ,items offered to buy for £20 did not accept, packiage returned as promised ,sold same on eBay for almond £100,so only use if you have rubbish to move and can't be bothered advertising yourself, expect we'll below actual value.”

“Vintage cash cow is a con I should have asked for it to be returned but the offer was so very very low I went ahead to see if they would stop so low and ay a pittance and yes they are that bad”

“Today I phoned Vintage Cash Cow and I was really disappointed at the offer of £56 for my items which was worth more than that that’s my opinion.”

I am sorry to hear that you are disappointed with your offer and that we never met your expectations on this occasion. Our offers are always the best we can make and are generated based on the current second-hand market resale value of the items we receive. As for the reason for your offer being lower than expected, I can see that we receive a large amount of brass and pewter from you, which are low-value metals and don't tend to generate a huge amount. We also found a lot of coins, and whilst there were a few silver coins, the majority were all quite standard coins, not coming of any misprints or rarities. We received some lovely pieces of costume jewellery, but unfortunately, the supply of costume jewellery is a lot higher than the demand. We strive to provide fair and reasonable offers but we understand that the amount may not always align with what customers had hoped for, which is why we have a free returns policy. I am sorry to see that you have chosen to accept an offer that you're not happy with as we are always happy to return a box to a customer so that they can sell their items elsewhere. As we are a bulk decluttering service we ask that you send us a variety of items from a few categories as this will help increase the value of your box. “I was surprised how little I received, particularly as there was such a large amount of silverware in the box”

Our experienced appraisers carefully value the items we receive based on their current market value. As for the reasoning for the offer being lower than expected, I can see that whilst we did find a small amount of silver, the majority was silver plate which contains 2-5% silver content. Therefore it is a low-value metal and does not tend to generate a huge amount. We appreciate that we won't always meet customer expectations with the offer we make, which is why we have a free returns policy. “This is my 2nd time of using VCC. The first box of old Cameras sent was valued at a reasonable price and I accepted. The second box of Cameras that I sent were vastly underpriced by VCC, but to be fair, all items were returned, very well packed and the service was excellent with very polite correspondence.”

“I was very impressed by the efficiency I experienced. Labels arrive promptly and the heavy box I filled was collected exactly as expected. I received a message to confirm arrival of my items and 2/3 days later I received my offer, which I was happy with. A cheque folllowed immediately. “I thought I would give them a go and my goodness me they excelled beyond my expectations. My parcel was collected and within 4 days I was given an offer which shocked me.
