“Just got my Gringo from UR, couple of points... The helmet is top notch, I ride an old bike and have had Bandit and Bell 3/4 helmets with no problems... I fancied a full face helmet and there was no other choice than the Gringo...well made, light and looks great. As far as UR are concerned....great service, great prices, I'm certain to be buying more gear from these guys.”

“I am very pleased with the jacket especially since Barbour has made it into a true motorcycle jacket with provision for armor and an added waterproof layer. I like the stiff belt with the reflective strip. It allows one to ride on warmer days with the jacket unzipped but kept from flapping in the breeze by the belt. I'll move the armor from one of my other motorcycle jackets when I use it for riding. Otherwise it is a great general purpose waterproof jacket with style. When wearing it as a cold weather jacket off the bike, I may employ a fleece zip up hoodie under it rather than the quilted liner so as to provide more neck and head protection. I was also very pleased with how fast it arrived here in the USA. I ordered it on a Friday and received it the following Tuesday afternoon. If I make it back to London (I was there in July, 2014) I'll look you up.”

“I have recently returned to 'scootering' and needed an autumn/winter jacket. It was a toss-up between the jacket under review and a Revit Elysee jacket (also from UR). The matter was decided when the 'Steve' was reduced to Ù‡Â£100! While I have yet to wear the 'Steve' on a ride, I was immediately impressed with the quality of the garment and fit (an XL for 42" chest, 5'10" height). It really is great value, very warm and stylish. At this price you can't go wrong! I also acquired the D30 elbow and shoulder protection (Ù‡Â£20). They fit easily into the 'Steve' and are inconspicuous. The jacket is fairly heavy but needs to be if it is to give adequate 'scrape' protection in the event of a fall. Finally, this is my first purchase from UR and I am impressed with its advice before buying and time of delivery.”
