“Hi emailed for help never received a reply, map was wrong scale and unable to edit i.e. add features as required by planning department not a good experience poor value poor service should be made very clear on advertising you can only add either blue or red boundaries and that is it, nothing else can be added!”

“UK Planning Maps have asked me to review, otherwise I'd have kept this to myself but I thought the product was poor. The online journey wasn't clear, it was slow, I couldn't see even part of the the final draft product before committing to paying and what I got was rejected by planning. Overall, a waste of money.”

“I got the map I wanted, and managed to draw the boundary in red, I then purchased the map but when the map came through their were no boundary lines, just the bare map. I was in a hurry, so did not want to go through the process of calling and going through the customer complaints rigmarole, so I got a pen and ruler out!”

“I found the information unclear as to the size of the map I was purchasing. When outlining the property boundary it was very unclear that I would only obtain a section of the property and it was impossible to specify which section. The resulting map is in fact useless and quite frankly looks like a 3 year old drew it. Considering how much they cost I expected much better quality. Very disappointed and annoyed that I have to begin again (not with this company).”

“Difficult to use interface when ordering planning location maps and inaccurate previews meant purchased map was not as expected. I was provided with the correct map after contacting customer services twice and they were very helpful, but I wouldn't use again unless I knew I could rely on the previews. The interface gave problems because there was no zoom facility so trying to use the red border tool was exceedingly difficult and the screen was a mass of possible points to click on.”

“It was quick to do but by choosing black and white I received a jpg and not a vector based map. Disappointing as whilst I’d have like the option to edit it also increased the file size.”

“The pdf ordnance survey map you sent me would not print to scale so I could not use it . Although you tried to sort the problem out you were not successful. so in a nutshell I wasted my money and you did not offer a refund.”

“I needed to supply an outline of my property to support a planning application. It seems you can only connect the outline to pre-entered points. Some of the corners of my property had several points with no indication which one was correct. I also needed to connect the outline to a non-existing point in a shared yard. This point was supplied to the Land Registry in 2010. In the end I bought the map, and edited it with Paint.”

“I found it very difficult to mark the perimeter of the required area. Either the line would not go where I wanted it to go or I ended up with a triangle instead of a rectangle. It would appear that it cannot do irregular shapes.”

“I think you UI is very poor, it is extremely difficult to use and very frustrating. The guidance on how to use the tool was poor. We selected rectangle and red and the colour kept defaulting to blue. Javascript is so powerful now it is disappointing that you cannot make a tool which works better.”
