“Disappointed. The person dealing with my purchase used the postcode, rather than the address, for my 1.1250 scale planning application site plan. As such, the property was at the edge of the map and was, therefore, unfit for purpose.”

“Wrong map shown when purchased, emailed UK planning maps, auto reply sent back, then I receive an email asking me to write a review, so here it is. Rubbish service and the issue still isn’t sorted out.”

“I phoned to ask for some advice and the girl on the telephone spoke to me like I was an idiot. I found this quite strange as she did not seem to know what she was talking about and this is her job. I asked would my map cover the whole of an a4 page and not just the square in the middle she gave a very vague answer. I asked for my map to show where my property met the highway, she said it would... it doesn't.. So all in all an unpleasant, not to say costly, experience. When you are advertising maps specifically for planning purposes I would suggest you actually know what architects and planning authorities are asking for.”

“Did realise the small map shown wasnt a sample and the outline buttons simply an indication of what could be done. Paid only to find id missed this stage. The price seemed to almost double from what led me to go to the site in the first place. The printed result also seemed very small and didnt utilise more of the page.”

“Plan does not show correct layout i had to draw my own. Neighbours bungalow extends 2 metres past mine but plan shows about 2ft is that. I need this to be correct for Planning dept otherwise they will dismiss it.”

“It was very quick but I couldn't find how to view my map so on receiving there was no red line showing my borders, so I rang company straight away. I spoke to a young lady who seemed like was having a bad day. I was told she would get her floor manager to put this in and resend it. I heard nothing. I then rang again and was told would get another call. I still haven't heard anything. Disappointed”

Hi, thanks for your feedback. The maps we supply are sourced from ordnance survey and are the most accurate available in the UK. If you need something more accurate and tailored to your requirements you might like to look at options available from local surveyors. If you feel that there are features missing or in entirely the wrong place please contact OS directly and they will be happy to take details from you and use them to aid future map refreshes.
