“I'm allergic to ppd's and I'm 48 so lots of Grey's 🙃. I've been looking for a hair dye for years so my daughter did her research and found your semi permanent range. I love it. I haven't been able to use semi permanent hairdye for years. My hair dosent feel damaged too”

“didn't colour my hair at all roots stil dark and grey is visible never again I'm gutted what a waste of money and I have no money as it is I could cry I'm so upset”

Hi Kerry. We are sorry to read of your disappointing experience using Tints of Nature hair colour. Customer experience and satisfaction is of great importance to us and we would like to look into the matter further and establish a resolution for you. Grey hair can be very stubborn and depending on your base hair colour and chosen Tints of Nature shade results can vary. Tints of Nature permanent colours will lift hair by one shade and our semi-permanent shades will only tint your hair and not lift your base colour. “The tint covers all my grey perfectly without irritating my very sensitive scalp. (Other tints caused my scalp to itch and literally the skin would come off in chunks- nothing like this happens with Tints of Nature tints.”

“The hair colour, shampoo and conditioner is very gentle on my sensitive scalp and it covers my grey hair very well. I get a lot of very nice comments from friends and family that the colour is very nice and looks very natural. Very happy with it. Thank you.”

“Since I have shoulder-joint pain, I take Tints of Nature to my hairdressing salon to colour my hair. Always the salon assistants comment on the ease of use of your product, how well it covers the grey, and the pleasant smell it has. I find it makes my hair shiny also.”

We strive on making healthier products, our permanent home hair colours are made using the lowest possible levels of PPD, with 75% naturally derived and 95% certified organic ingredients. Permanent hair colour needs a certain amount of PPD in order for it to work as permanent hair colour. We would like to know a bit more about your thoughts surrounding our ingredients and what made you feel there were too many harsh chemicals? “After suffering some hair loss and a flaky scalp, with no exact cause, I started doing some research and found that sometimes ssl in shampoo can be a trigger.Ive tried all different sulphate free shampoos and they have stopped my hair loss and cleared my flaky scalp, but they have all made my hair dull, lank and knotty. Tints of nature sulphate free shampoo is amazing, it made my hair shiny, bouncy and tangle free after one wash. I’m yet to try the semi permanent hair dye I bought but I’ve read good reviews on it. I will definitely be buying some more shampoo in the future. Thanks Tints Of Nature 👍😊”

“Gentle on my scalp. Good coverage, but not completely covering my grey. Also takes a while to colour hair when you have to use the hydration treatment first.”

Thank you for your review :) yes...we understand it can take some time when pre-treating your hair before the actual colour application but we like to think of it as the perfect excuse for some tlc and pamper time. Grey hairs can be very very stubborn and resistant - keep up the treatments and see how you go, if you still feel the coverage is still lacking give us a call :) 01590 613490

“I was nervous about the neutral brown I'd chosen as another brand I've used in the past had henna in it. From checking the ingredients it looked as though Tints of Nature was ok and it turned out beautifully. I wanted to return my hair to its original colour and the Tints of Nature dye is brilliant. It seemed perfectly happy with my usual shampoo and conditioners, too. I'd definitely recommend it to others.”

“I bought the permanent colour; soft copper blonde which came out much darker than a 7. In addition, my scalp reacted badly; intense itching and flaking. i am very disappointed and will have to go back to more mainstream colourants.”

“I have dark brown and thick hair, which was dyed black but I wanted to return to my original hair colour. I used the 3N (Natural Dark Brown). The only difference I noticed that my hair is much softer and silkier than before, but all the hairs have been left untouched, clearly visible and distinguishable from the rest.”

Hi Janos, thank you for your review and feedback. If your hair was previously coloured black, this would make it difficult for Tints of Nature shades to colour over it and lift it back to a 3N shade. Our colours will take your hair any shade darker and will lift your hair by one shade. We use the lowest possible levels of PPD in our permanent shades and therefore it will only lift your hair by one shade. We would like to help and assist you further by sending you a performance questionnaire which will help our customer support team identify the issue you had experienced and advise on the best practice to get you back to a brunette shade.
