I have to say that, being in hospital in the UAE and in urgent need of the funds, this sale is quite important to us. We received a cash offer on 11th June, which we accepted without delay.
We decided to go with a solicitor recommended by the buying company — Mr. Oliver Taman from Wilsons Solicitors — who has been excellent so far, responding promptly to emails and showing a clear commitment to moving things forward.
All required paperwork was submitted, and ID verification was completed last Friday. We’re now 12 days into the process, and since the property is mortgage-free and the situation is relatively straightforward, I’m hopeful that completion will happen even earlier than expected.
The current agreed deadline for completion is 4th July (3 weeks), but given the simplicity of the case, I remain optimistic that funds will be released sooner.
