“I studied the online level 5 (168 hours) course. It was very informative and had lots of great resources for additional research which I am still using even after completing the course. I would of liked to have my assignments marked quicker (but i'm impatient). The feedback was great on the first assignment but there wasn't any for the second one and the third one was rather vague, which is a shame. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an insightful, thorough and convenient course, I would loved to have done the face to face classes but just having a baby I wasn't able to, however I feel this course gives anyone enough help to survive without it!”

“I took the level 5 TEFL COURSE (168 hrs) which was highly packed with insights and information regarding how to conduct teaching successfully from onset to finish. My course mentor was very helpful and timely as she guided me through where i made mistakes. Now, that i am finished, i am ready to work overseas and transfer my knowledge. Thank you TEFL Academy for helping me to open overseas doors. i can recommend TEFL academy to anyone anytime because they offer the best service which is value for money. Another thing i love about TEFL Academy is they help their students for placements and jobs. Anyone who wants to teach overseas, try TEFL academy, you wont regret it.”

“I had recently retired after 40 years working in community development and education. Rather than doing nothing I decided to do a TEFL course so I could either volunteer to work with newcomers helping them learn English or I could go into schools near Lucca in Italy as a support worker as I am there a few months each year. I started the online 120 hours course. All the course information was easy to follow as I was unsure about not being on a face to face course. I did have to have two extensions as we moved house and spent weeks trying to get internet access! Again this was easily applied for and granted. I'm sure I spent many more hours than 120 but it has been well worth it. I only asked for one support ticket and it was quickly answered and the tutor gave full advice. I would recommend online courses now and recommend TEFL for their well laid out modules and support.”

“I recently completed my Level 5 168 Hr Online course and to be honest everything was perfect. The way the tutors responded was so proficient, all the assignments were submitted on time (5 to 7 days) and all the feedback was so clear. If you want to have the best online TEFL course PLEASE!! , The TEFL Academy is the best course provider.”

“It took me longer than 6months to complete as i am a school teacher and had allot of other work to complete i contacted the TEFL academy and without any hassle i was able to gain an extra 3 montns. I finaly completed it this month and couldnt be happier with my experience. I think a regular reminder on progress would help motivate more work to be done. Overall great experience.”

“I have just finished the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) online. It was a great experience, I really progressed through the whole course which reviews all the basics a good teacher should know. The progression is smooth, whether online or on the mobile phone, I never had any issue with the website. 6 months is plenty of time to finish it if like me you can study only a few hours during the weekends, assigments were challenging but not impossible if you take your time.”

“The material provided within the online course was really well structured and clear. End of module tests made sure the contents were revised appropriately. I also liked the end of course assignments as it helped me apply what I learned. The weekend course was also helpful with regards to trying out real teaching situations. I would recommend TEFL to anyone who is looking to pursue a career in ESL teaching”

“I completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) at TheTEFLAcademy.com. It was convenient and fun to go through the different sections, and by the end I feel like I learned a lot about teaching English. I am not used to their grading system for the assignments and it seems kind of arbitrary at times, but overall it's a good course and I do recommend it if you need TEFL certification.”

“I completed the 168-hour combined TEFL course with the TEFL Academy. I found that the course did an excellent job of teaching me how to complete lesson plans and teach the more technical aspects of English, such as grammar. It also was helpful in that it imparted a great deal of information about classroom management and what kind of work teaching involved. The feedback, end of unit tests and assignments also did an excellent job of reinforcing learning throughout the course.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed the TEFL course as I was able to work at my own pace and do as much of as little as I could each time. The modules are easy to understand and there are so many helpful tips for when you teach your own classes. The 20 hours of practical lessons were really helpful as well and our teacher was amazing. I would definitely recommend other people to do this course.”

“The teaching practice was fun. The teaching practice made me feel like teaching English was something I could do well. The online course taught extended my knowledge of English language in a very interesting way. I'm happy because I feel like I remember and use a lot of this knowledge in my use and interpretation of English everyday, even though I haven't started teaching yet. I feel happy because when I decide to I can go teach English and travel and it didn't cost a bomb! I like the emails about opportunities the TEFL academy send through.”

“It was enjoyable to revise sides of the English language I already knew and to learn useful skills for planning any kind of lessons for any kind of necessities. The most enjoyable part of the course was the two classes I attended in Dublin. I guess it is always nicer to do things in company.”
