“I took the level 5 168 hour course and was surprised at how comprehensive it was . I also felt for young people wanting to see the world and have a career this was a very affordable to begin that . I have a teaching degree already but I really expanded my learning of English and how to teach it. I use the information I received here often. I also felt that the academy was very responsive and willing to help while I was taking the course and afterwards in getting a teaching assignment.”

“Enjoyed the online part of the course. I found 2 10 hour days for the classroom too long. 4 5 hour days would have increased my learning. When you have any queries they are answered promptly. Great service.”

“I would recommend the college to other people as I have gained a good experience being a student TEFL Academy. The website is easy to navigate and is effectively equipped with lessons and materials. The comment of tutors in essays supported and encouraged me in my studies. I found them very valuable. The college also provide you with extra teaching material. “I have just finished the 168-hour Level 5 course and it was amazing. Every part of the course is very easy to understand and learn, same goes for the tests you need to do at the end of the lessons. I had no problems navigating through the course when i needed to find something specific and the support is very helpful when you need any assistance. It can take a bit longer for the team to grade the assignments but that is normal and I understand it is not an easy job. All in all it was an amazing experience for me and i definitely recommend it to anybody who is thinking about teaching English. :)”

“The TEFL Academy is a valuable course, which offers an introduction and subsequent exploration of the broad category 'teaching English'. The course is highly weighted to online content, which can pose a problem for those that have issues learning independently, or struggle to understand certain modules, especially the phonology sections. Strung together with end-of-unit tests and three assignments, the course isn't simply a point-click-certify experience. You will need to prove your comprehension and retention of the module information. Most importantly, the assignments will test you on the core skills you will need to develop in order to become an effective teacher. I would recommend enrolling in the Combined course option, as you will be invited to a 20-hour seminar. This gave the course greater depth and added an interactive element to a predominantly independent experience. The seminar also acted as a space in which questions and issues that have arisen during individual study can be clarified to the entire group. Ultimately, considering the cost of the course, the service is excellent. The price of the TEFL Academy Level 5 course is beyond affordable, so it would be unfair to expect everything to be perfect. However, the course is enjoyable and rewarding, giving you a solid foundation on which to build your teaching legacy!”

“I studied the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) and genuinely enjoyed the whole process. The online element is clear and every individual I came in contact with was extremely helpful if I needed any assistance. The 20 practical hours aspect of the course allowed me to meet some new and interesting people as well as giving a more realistic presentation of what teaching will be like. I would and have recommended the TEFL Academy.”

“I recently complete the Level 5 (168 hour) TEFL Certificate and I am really pleased with the course. The course was informative, easy to follow and I found the interactive activities really useful in solidifying my knowledge. The range of additional resources and reading is really interesting also. I found that tutor support was really prompt whenever I raised a question. My only issue was I had to raise a query about the grading of one of my assignments, though this was dealt with promptly and to my satisfaction which was appreciated.”

“I studied Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) at the TEFL Academy, so I would be able to work around the world. When I decided to start I didn't yet know I would be moving to the other side of the world within 2 months. But even so I managed to finish and pass this course successfully. I would definitely recommend the TEFL Academy for the way they support you and how easily you can access and follow this course where ever you are.”

“I recently studied the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) . The information was very good, the tutors and admin staff were very helpful and had great suggestions. I really enjoyed that you can study at your own pace because it allows you to study around your life. Very good course content. I would actually score the course 4.5 it was very good and it is great that it is a well recognised qualification.”

“I enjoyed the course and found it useful as it made me think about areas that I wouldnt have thought of without the course. The only issue I found was that some links were broken amd the waiting time for assignments to be graded was, for one piece of work, over five working days.”

“The Tefl 168 Level 5 course was a pleasure to do....the course is well structured and the contact session was very useful. The assessor feedback was insightful and really helped with grasping aspects that were problematic for me. Now I can not wait to start my adventure.”

“The course overall was very good and the structure of the course was planned out well. Lots of help from the person running the Facebook page which I'm thankful for. I found some parts to be rather challenging though out the course. The assignments were okay also can be very challenging at certain points. But I enjoyed the course and the in class training! Very good course!”

“Everything has been smooth sailing with the TEFL Academy, the online course was easy to understand and use as a learning resource. The tests and assignments were challenging and a good way to review my progress and understanding. The only issue I had was with the final certificate delivery, especially for overseas online learners. A courier service should really be an available option because regular post is extremely unreliable in some countries and for such an important document you should make sure it arrives safely.”

“The chief affair is that the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) is exceedingly pliable! I love that I'm able to start a section and if life gets in the way I can come back and finish the section weeks later. It allowed me to vastly improve my working and practical knowledge of ESL Teaching. Also, it’s a QCF Level 5 course, which means I now have the equivalent of a CELTA Certificate for a quarter of the price. The TEFL academy is a good company and I’m extremely happy with their Level 5 course.”

“The Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) that I have just completed with the TEFL Academy has provided me with the knowledge and confidence to go out and teach English to foreign students! I found the course to be incredibly useful in preparing me for a variety of teaching situations, and techniques for being the best teacher I can be. I also learnt lots about grammar which I was previously unaware of. I look forward to putting what I have learnt into practice.”
