“I enjoyed being able to work in my own time. I enjoyed learning things about my own language that I had never thought of before. I liked the instant feedback. I feel more empowered now to teach children who speak it as a FIRST language. I'm excited to teach it as a second language.”

“As someone working full time, but looking to pursue something new, the 120-hour online TEFL course was perfect for my schedule. The course was engaging, thought-provoking, and kept me interested -- even after a long day on the job. In the same week I finished the course, I'm already booked for gigs in Spain and Mexico. I can't wait!”

“This course was extremely interesting and rewarding. I was surprised how much I didn't know about my native language. Through the course I felt I was learning well despite my initial doubts on how effectively I could learn from an online course. The classroom aspect of the course was a useful insight into the practical side of teaching. I now feel as prepared as I can be to teach English and I look forward to using the knowledge I have acquired to provide a good quality of education. When considering the price of the course and the opportunities it can provide, it was an absolute bargain. I would like to say a big thank you to The TEFL Academy for administration the course so well and being very punctual with marking. I would highly recommend THE TEFL Academy to anyone wanting to study a TEFL course.”

“Excellent course that was easy and professional at the same time. Learning on the TEFL Academy was hard in the beginning as the first few modules was a ton of new information , and some I forgot , that was manageable through the one page info that was handed to you online, making it easier for the information to stay in my head. The weekend course was amazing too, meeting new people and having fun learning about how to teach to learners around the the world. Really would recommend this course to anyone, but be warned , you can't expect to do nothing and think you'll finish...there is six months to finish the course,and can easily do it in 1 to 2 months but don't leave it till the end like we did. Great job TEFL Academy!!”

“The real academy provided a great opportunity to enrol on and complete a 120-hour TEFL qualification. The classroom hours were incredibly informative and convenient with the weekend slots. They also helped a great deal with completing the online portion. The course itself was thorough and designed in such a way to make learning easy and effective. The only down side was not being warned that I would not be able to access my grades/feedback/course notes at the end of the 6 month period.”

“The classroom hours were the highlight of my TEFL Academy experiences. I did them towards the end of my online course and it seemed like everything was coming together. It really motivated me to finish and get teaching. Hearing my classroom teacher talk about her experiences teaching abroad really inspired me and made me so excited to use my TEFL qualification abroad.”

“Hi. Good job to the TEFL Academy, it was a great experience full of a learning atmosphere that i learned a lot of things that i never knew about and they showed me clearly how to approach and do specific things like a detailed lesson planning, making a listening lesson and how i can manage a class of different levels. wow, i greatly recommend the TEFL academy to anyone there looking for a better way to learn and improve your teaching skills.”
