“I have enjoyed the course. The course materials are sufficient to get an appropriate TEFL training. Coming into the course after almost two decades out of school I wasn’t sure what to expect, or if I would be able to successfully complete the course. The online Level 5 TEFL Course came in strong and precise, giving me all the tools I would EVER need in the world of being a EFL teacher. The units were intense and well structured, and any moment that began to feel any bit overwhelming I was able to ask the outstanding instructors for guidance. I was always met with a very professional and efficient response to my questions. I consider taking this class as one of the greatest decisions I have ever made! Also, I would recommend it to anyone that is interested in getting qualified as an EFL teacher.”

“The TEFL Academy course allows you to demonstrate to yourself that you have a good level of English and, also, allows you with a lot of diferente materials and techniques that will work perfectly for improving your knowledge about how to teach. With this course, you will find another definition of been a teacher.”

“The course units were easy to follow and understand.I liked that the online markers did not just mark but gave feedback,which made it easy for me to know how to improve.The weekend class was so engaging and the tutor made the class interesting by giving all students chances to participate!”

“Tefl academy is very good, I have to admit that I was a bit sceptical at first but the course I did was extremely informative and helpful, I had a bit of trouble with how to get my certificate as it wasn't really straightforward but other than that I would definitely recommend everyone to do a tefl course with Tefl academy.”

“I studied the TEFL 168hr course which included 148 hours online and 20 in person. I found the course really helpful and informative, it made me confident to begin teaching and learning. The course in person was good as it covered the content of the online course and was interactive which helped me gain some experience with teaching.”

“After completing the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) through the TEFL Academy, I was very impressed with the course as a whole. It offers lots of information, structured in an interesting and easy to follow way, but does still require lots of thinking and work from the student. There are real world applicable assignments which involve creating lesson plans that could be used in a classroom and helps prepare you for the working environment. The feedback given was very beneficial for me, and information I will take into account when preparing lesson plans on the job. A couple times the online program seemed to not work correctly, resulting in me needing to send in a "ticket" to have it fixed, thus setting me back a day or so in my completion schedule, plus the marks took a fair bit longer than the estimated 5 business days to be returned, but you could normally continue working through the course while waiting for the feedback. For these reasons I have given the course a 4 out of 5 overall and would (and have) recommended this program to others interested in the industry. -Chris”

“Excellent course with good content. Définitely stretches you and the assignments are a strong test. I feel confident to start my teaching from here. The only negative I have is that once I have passed the course it takes a long time to get my certificate and I want to apply for jobs. I suggested an interim certificate by email Thank you”

“I have just completed my Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) with The TEFL Academy. I have been teaching English for about 16 years (mostly online lately) and have Master’s in teaching, still I wanted to refresh my knowledge and be up-to-date with modern approaches in teaching. I have to say I genuinely enjoyed the course, and my favourite part was the assignments. I appreciate the feedback I received and thank the TEFL Academy for giving those who strive for knowledge the chance to study wherever they are, whenever it is convenient for them. It took me about half a year to complete the course, but the only reason was the fast lane I live in. I am sure one can do it much faster. I could compare the course with a good book. When you know it is about to end, you postpone reading the last pages, this is how I felt when coming to the finishing line…I did not want to finish my course! :) The only thing that truly upset me was the fact that my course grade would not be stated in the Certificate. It means a lot to me as I have the distinction, and did my best to receive it. I was informed that I would get the transcript along with the Certificate, though it is not much of comfort for me personally. So I would like to again thank The TEFL Academy for my Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) and hope they will consider changing their rules and eventually include the grade you really sweat for.”

“I have just completed the 168-hour Level 5 TEFL course with the TEFL Academy. The course helps one build a solid understanding of the core principles of teaching English as a foreign language, provides a sample lesson procedure and explains how it can be tailored to individual circumstances. This, in my opinion, is the most important feature of the course since it means that those who have sucessfully passed the tests and assignments are equipped with the necessary tools to explore the world of TEFL further and develop their teaching competencies. The course is a reliable starting point for any aspiring teacher of English.”

“I just completed level 5(168 hours) online course with The Tefl Academy. Its a great experience with a lot of knowledge to make you ready for your career as a Tefl Teacher. It is also very convenient and you move at your own pace. I highly recommend this to those who are already working and want to take the course. However, I think it will be great if they add face to face online lectures (virtual classroom ) probably not one on one but in groups to explain certain key topics like lesson plans etc. Overall, I think the course is awesome.”
