“The course was well organised and structured with lots of valuable and useful information and practical resources. We received constructive and detailed feedback on tests and assignments within the given time which helped significantly. It was an easy and enjoyable experience and would definitely recommend to aspiring teachers!”

“I loved how I could extend my course when life got in the way, the customer service was so awesome and they marked my assignments so quickly! I found the online format really easy to learn and I especially love the opportunities for jobs, volunteer and internship placements they provide. I could browse all day!”

“I recently completed the Level 5 168 hour course. I managed to complete it within the 4 - 6 week estimate and I found it very informative. The online component is easy to follow, filled with useful information, and perfect to complete as and when you have time. The assignments are set at an appropriate level and the marking feedback is great. The in-class component is a highlight. It's a great way of putting the skills you will need as a TEFL teacher into practice. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who needs their TEFL certification.”

“I'm a 48 year old woman with several year's experience in customer relations, new business development and retention, marketing and product training. I've also completed more than my fair share of diplomas - one of which was a University of Cambridge diploma in Computer Programming (C, C++ and Oracle). I would rate TEFL as one of my best learning experiences - closely rivaled by the various courses I did in Singapore while with Singapore Airlines. The initial 20 hour Classroom TEFL course was a brilliant way to launch the experience. Our instructor was enthusiastic, engaging and inspiring. The 168 hour Level 5 TEFL online course that followed, was thorough and well presented. I would honestly recommend this course to all would be EFL/ESL teachers!”

“The TEFL Academy came highly recommended for its accredited Level 5 courses. I have just completed the Level 5 168 hour online course and I can attest to the exceptional standard. The entire course layout is accessed through effortless navigation and clear concise instruction. The support is excellent with lighting fast response time from the Support Team. Course content is presented in a structured and logical format to optimise researching ESL teaching methods and styles. The activities and end of unit tests helped me track my own progress and do revision if required. I had so much fun completing the assignments, as I felt well prepared with access to a wealth of resources. The feedback from examiners was constructive and relevant. From an absolute novice’s point of view, the course has the best certification and is an invaluable foundation for a new teaching career.Thank you!”

“I have just completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs). I enjoyed the course and finished within the allotted time. It was interesting and presented in a modern, easy to follow format, with reassuring tests throughout. The assignments gave the opportunity to put knowledge into practise and were challenging enough to maintain a high standard, making the course feel worthwhile. The links to additional reading and resources are great for continued teacher development. I would recommend this course for anyone interested in becoming a capable TEFL teacher.”

“I loved that so many different aspects of language teaching were covered in the 168hr course. The coursework that must be completed allowed you to really push the knowledge you gained through the units, and made you appreciate the sort of work you would do to plan a lesson for a proper class. The course left me feeling fully prepared for a career in foreign language teaching.”

“I took the level 5 TEFL course (168hrs) and loved it! This course is challenging but easy to follow. I found that my life experience helped my understanding of the material, but those experiences were also the reason I was interested in the program. “The Tefl Academy supplied the course within minutes of me signing up. They responded promptly to any questions raised. The course built on the concepts taught in an ordered manner with increasingly difficult concepts being taught later in the programme. The course was comprehensive and of a very high quality. The marks achieved are an indication that I was engrossed in the course and found it very interesting.”

“I have just completed the 168 hour TEFL course and I would definitely recommend the course. Overall I really enjoyed the course the online platform was easy to use and clearly laid out all the modules and assignment information you needed. The weekend classroom experience I thoroughly enjoyed as the teacher was excellent. She clearly explained the modules and tips and tricks to make your life as a tefl teacher easier. She also provided the class with loads of really interesting game ideas to use. We also got to try these games out ourselves in the classroom and also practice teaching the other people on the course. This was a great way to see how you would teach something in a classroom setting and also the teacher told you what you could improve. The assignments do take some time to complete but they give you a good idea of what teaching will be like. The feedback provided was excellent and extremely detailed which I found great as you could then improve your planning. Overall, I really enjoyed this course and would recommend it.”
