“I have recently completed my 168 hours TEFL course. This course has built both my knowledge and skills. I feel confident in everything I plan, teach and work collaboratively with my colleagues. The 20-hour classroom is highly recommended as it is an overview of the entire course. I would suggest booking in the middle of the course after completing the minimum 4 assignments. Thank you to TEFL for providing me a well-recognised qualification straight after my last assignment was graded. I still need to take a free top-up course offered by TEFL Academy. Thank you.”

“Excellent course content and very well thought out course. Well organised structure and useful feedback from instructors. Assignments are lengthy but can be completed within the allocated time. Enjoyed the face to face element of the course most.”

“I studied the Level 5 TEFL-Course (168 hrs) at the TEFL-academy. I feel that the course covered all the aspects that teaching may encounter. The course is well planned and presented. I learnt some new teaching skills and revived some old ones. The training and support was excellent! Thank you for opening a few doors for me!”

“I am quite happy with The TEFL Academy. I did the combination Level 5 (168 hours) course and found it very educational. “I followed the TEFL Academy Level 5 course, it takes you clearly, step by step through the course with interactive tests to confirm that you have understood each lesson. Three assignments to pass but interesting and rewarding. Helpful assignment markers give you positive feedback to enable you to improve throughout the course. Provides you with everything you need to become a qualified TEFL teacher. I am happy to recommend this course.”

“I currently completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs). The coursebook is detailed and helpful and the content was adequate. The course has YouTube tutorials which introduces each topic which is thoughtful and gives an overview of what you are about to be covering. I enjoyed that after every unit there was an opportunity to test myself with the knowledge and content learnt. The content is easy to understand and is of an exceptional level. The course provides templates for all the assignments and what to sub,it including a rubric so that you are aware of what you are being assessed on which is highly accommodating. The course tutors are extremely friendly and give you feedback regarding how to improve your assignment if you may have misunderstood an element of instruction. The coursework scope is broad and entails several examples. The one thing they could have focused on was providing more tutorials on the phonetic chart as I was slightly confused. Furthermore, they could have provided an easier way to get through the content like for example, rather make an "exercise book" to download which we can go through instead of splitting it into so many parts. Nevertheless, the course is well structured and easy to follow/understand. It also explains the content in detail. This was a pleasant journey and if you have correct time management , you will be able to finish the course before 6 months !”

“The TEFL Academy has been of much help for me as it gave me the opportunity to learn everything I need to start teaching. The course is well organized, the assessments are demanding but reasonable. “The program gave you a variety of tool to add to your “teaching tool box”. It’s extremely flexible and will work with all types of schedule. The staff and assignment reviewer always responded to my questions quickly with detailed explanations/ suggestions.”

“I thought I was really knowledgeable of the English Language but this course taught me material that I knew nothing of! The practical teaching weekend was brilliant and really useful; I'm pleased that I opted for the combined course rather than just online. The assignments were challenging and took more time than I expected but I understood the benefit of completing them. The only drawback was that I found that the instructions for the assignments weren't very clear and that I was expected to know material that was only covered very briefly in the course. I'd definitely recommend TEFL academy.”
