Teletext is scum company who’s taking everyone’s money . I’m waiting for my refund since March, it’s so hard to get hold of anyone to talk to , when I do it’s always lie nothing else . People need to be aware of this company ..stay away !

TT-BQ-1021767 -Booked with Teletext Holidays to go away in April 2020. Teletext cancelled the holiday due to covid. After numerous phonecalls was told refund would be end of July. Since then advisors keep cutting my calls. Suprise suprise. Numerous emails sent no response. Please do not book with Teletext!!!

Shocking company. DO NOT USE! We are still waiting for our refund back from our holiday back in June. They hang up on you and don’t reply to emails. We are in the process of taking them to the small claims court.

TT780156 and the usual story of a holiday booked for March, fees paid, holiday cancelled and still waiting for a refund. Don't want an alternative trip as we are in our eighties and not now fit to travel. Some broken promises from customer support but usually unable to reach anybody to talk to. Six months now and the company shows no sign of helping us. John Carter

I paid your company in February for a holiday still waiting for a refund of the flights took 5 months to get the hotel money back and you hadn't even paid them either worst company out there I will never book through you again just waiting for the court papers to arrive to sue you for my outstanding money. As per other customer reviews, I am waiting for a refund of 4000 pounds, was told 90 days. Now atol says I should have 1 within 1 days. Today I am going to try a section 75 to retrieve the money, if this does not work I will be forced to apply to the small claims court, when this is upheld I will upscale it to the high court and get a ccj against teletext Holidays in high you will incur extra charges and court costs for the trouble. I am not playing cat and mouse anymore, sort my refund or feel the wrath of the courts!!!. TT749728, email me with a sensible response.

Do not book a holiday with teletext! I was meant to go on holiday in may and still haven’t had a refund. The legal amount of time for a refund is 14 days from departure. I have been ringing teletext up weekly to ask for updates and every operator tells me a different story as to why I have not received it (if they pick the phone up that is). We were poised the refund for August the 30th which never came. When we rang up they said it was due to the bank holiday so it will be in our account on the 2nd. On the 4th I rang up to chase this, another operator told me that they had not actually received a refund from Ryanair yet so they cannot refund us, Meaning our past conversations had been a lie. This operator then gave us an email address to request the refund from, we did this and still had no refund. We rang again and spoke to another operator who told us we were informed wrong and the refund will be with us in the next 7-10 working days, we asked for email confirmation of this due to the constant empty promises, the agent said he had sent one, however this never arrived. Today I have rang teletext today 4 times, being on hold each time for between 35-40 minutes then someone answering and hanging up the call. I do not recommend booking with these, they have no intention of refunding me at all.

Why do I have to give as much as one star for being treated appallingly?!! like everyone else on here I have been promised a refund will be paid every month, still nothing, my holiday should have been in May. We have always booked with teletext holidays sometimes twice a year, but NEVER again, and I would not recommend them to anyone. Come on Teletext do the right thing for these people who have trusted you with there hard earned money. I have been told I will get my refund at the end of this month(Sept), I will let you all know if I get it or not. Dorothy tt752614

These people fob you off everytime .. I was told by Miles to email all details Ref .lead passenger ..last 4 digits of card and amount to be refunded ..I would get this within 5 days .. SURPRISE ..NOTHING RECEIVED I now have called this morning to be told that my REFUND will be the end of OCTOBER REALLY .. I am appalled to keep being given different information everytime I call this company ... You have MY MONEY and I have confirmation email from Easyjet that this is the case ... YOU have my money and have had it since Dec 2019 .. I would now like it back All you do is give false information to all of your customers and able to say what you like.... WRONG HOW CAN YOU TREAT PEOPLE IN THIS MANNER ....PLEASE READ REVIEWS AND NOT KEEP ANSWERING WITH SAME REPLY YOU ARE NOT SORRY TO READ AS IF YOU WERE YOU WOULD BE DOING RIGHT BY THOSE PEOPLE

TT92066 PLEASE CAN SOMEONE CALL ME BACK!!! I’VE BEEN ON THE PHONE ALL MORNING TRYING TO CHANGE MY HOLIDAY NEXT WEEK TO CRETE, DUE TO RECENT GOVERNMENT RESTRICTIONS. I KEEP GETTING PASSED FROM ONE PERSON TO ANOTHER AND FOBBED OFF WITH NO INFORMATION. NONE OF THE STAFF SEEM TO UNDERSTAND AND ARE CLEARLY READING OFF A CRIB SHEET.

Teletext Reference TT757634 The refund process has been so shocking and so upsetting what can I say. I have phoned Teletext over the last few months since April 2020 on a regular basis writing down the dates and what we have been told but still we are waiting for our refund which has been promised to us numerous times back in July, then August, now September....the latest last week was that the refund was being processed and would be in our bank accounts in the next 3-5 days which it still isnt. We have checked every day and I phoned today to be told that it would definitely be within the next 7 working days as one of the providers has not refunded the money which is not correct as we have separate notifications from both Jet2 and EasyJet months ago to say that they have cancelled their part and refunded monies!I have asked for a manager to phone me back today! I am at a loss of what to do as the total cost of the refund is £4078 - this is beyond upsetting and we are given a different dates every time. Will someone from Teletext please get in touch with me and explain why we are given updates which are false every time and refund our money as our holiday has been cancelled!!! Clare Garrard

TT783896 TELETEXT HOLIDAYS - STOP TREATING YOUR CUSTOMERS SO APPALLINGLY & DO THE RIGHT THING!!!!!! ALSO READ THEIR REVEIWS & STOP SENDING GENERIC RESPONSES! You asked me for my TT number when it's clearly in my review (see below): PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH TELETEXT HOLIDAYS..... PLEASE! I DON'T WANT ANYONE TO GO THROUGH WHAT I AM. I'm a single parent and Teletext have left me with £1.00. Teletext Please refund my £3704.00 (TT783896) so I can feed my child and get out of debt. You have taken over £3k out of my account without authorisation on the 12th June 2020 (my son's 5th birthday). I only knew when I went to pay for his gift and shopping for my children because my payment rejected. After many phone calls and being cut off several times. I was apologised to and promised a refund by Cheryl on the 18th June 2020 which would take 4-7 days, on the 23rd June 2020 by Miles, 29th June 2020 by Saiz (he said my holiday was cancelled and the automatic payment marker was removed, why was this on there when it was confirmed that I would receive a phone call by Shasi to pay any outstanding balance which was due on the 29th June 2020), 15th July 2020 by Ned (he called me to say holiday cancelled and £3704.00 will be refunded in 4- 7 days), 27 July by Dennis (he said that I will be refunded on the 31st July 2020). They then confirmed via email it would be on the 31st August 2020 but still nothing. I am also still waiting for the cancellation email as promised. I have also sent numerous emails explaining that I have no money to feed my children and that I'm a single parent but they don't care. I am sinking into more debt everyday and suffering from stress. I can't believe that this company say that you can book with confidence and yet they treat there customers so appallingly. Teletext your customers buy hoildays from you in good faith and trust that you will do the right thing. Please do it.

Had a holiday booked for may 5th which was cancelled was told end of july for a refund then end of august. Told last monday would be in my bank within 3-5 days. Now over a week later and still nothing. Absolute joke of a company

Refunds that’s what !! I see on here people having the same problem as me. I’ve phoned and phoned even been cut off countless times after waiting like an hour or so. Refund was suppose to be back into account end July then told second week in August then still waiting phoned again told it be into account next day NOTHING then phoned yet again last week to be told I have to send an email to refund dept with details and be in account straight after. Guess what !!!! NOTHING. It’s ridiculous and I’ve always been polite and some speak to you and seems tell you want they think is acceptable like to get you off the phone. Really !!!!! This is appalling Customer Service. Live chat they say but you can’t get on that easily either if at allI’m now waiting on the Phone again to speak to Someone. I heard from Easy jet back in beginning of July to say they’d refunded all monies back to Teletext but Teletext fo t seem to want to part with it. From reading others reviews today I see I’m among a few. So I’m on the phone now after waiting a while yet again. Oh I’m on now & Guess what the Lady says “ Yes madam please do not worry you will receive your money and Please just give me a while whilst I sort this for you !!!!!!! This is now September 8th. Oh now lady come back with “ Madam do not worry you will get your refund by the end of the Month” Is that some sick joke !!!! Absolutely appalling and lies after lies. Sadly these Customer Service advisors are just reading off what they’ve been told to say. I wasn’t rude but I was angry and getting my point across as any person would be. I’ve done all nicely nicely as it’s awful treatment. She went on to say they have so many transactions but after reading on here the Complaints are they actually paying anyone back.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE MUPPETS. Hotel closed, (found out via facebook) was NEVER told by TT. TT even cancelled my accommodation on the 7th July, was due to fly on the 17th with 2 children (found out that little gem from the hotel manager) Its a good job I didn't fly out, Stranded with no hotel. STILL no refund after months, I paid in full for the holiday in April, £3500. I tried live chat, email and phone, no help at all. YOU WILL HAVE NO MONEY OR HOLIDAY, STAY WELL CLEAR, THEY DONT EVEN CARE. Its heart breaking..

Absolute shambles of a company, 2 holidays booked with them this year, nightmare trying to talk to someone regarding my refunds, had to go through my bank to get my money back, I will never use this company again, quick enough to take your money and don't want to give it back, Never again 🤔💰

Waiting 6 months and still no refund - absolutely shocking and deceitful customer service bordering on criminal. Use every stalling tactic to keep customers money. Tried all channels to communicate. Promised a refund by 31August - nothing arrived and still waiting - not even offering a date for a refund now, Stall, stall, stall - unbelievable! Can't understand why the regulators are not taking action.

This company believe me is not even worth 1 star. Booked a holiday August 2019 for June 2020 paid in full. Teletext cancelled our holiday in May 2020. The phone calls we have had to make are just beyond a joke to get our refund, that they still have not paid back to us, most of the time they make you hold on for up to 2 hours then hang up on you, and these are only a few of the pathetic excuses they have come out with. We are waiting for the suppliers to pay us, so we can pay you. Teletext are my supplier, no one else. I have checked with accommodation, they have never been paid up front. Transfers also not paid, only one who got paid was airline, also confirmation from airline that Teletext mastercard was paid my cash refund on 20th July 2020. Next pathetic excuse is the biggest one of all, ATOL had my cash refund and it was safe, and they were trying to get it back of them. It has been 115 days since Teletext cancelled my holiday and 97 days since I should have been flying out. Even on 3rd of August they requested my bank details to pay my refund within 3/4 weeks, this is now over a month ago. Please everyone warn your family, friends, this company will go beyond infinity to keep your money, and cause you anxiety and stress.
