Booking ref TT 769866, flight cancelled by ryanair in june because of virus flight booked through teletext Holidays ,Ryanair refunded cost of flight back to teletext on 5th of august but Teletext still refuse to refund to me, various e mails sent but no answer . please refund my money now or legal proceedings will be actioned.

Absolutely atrocious. Stand well clear of this company. Customer services below standard and emails not sent. I don't know how they can get away with it. Still waiting for a refund which they keep stalling. I wanted money back instead given a protected credit which I didn't want and apply for a refund end of September 20 bearing in mind it was a holiday I booked in January and cancelled in May. The protected credit note gave me the money back from the hotel but have had a refund from easyjet on July 14th but no correspondence regarding this. Please do not waste your money booking with these charlatans. I would give them half a star if I could

If I could give them a minus score I would but alas. So two experience with teletext. In February booked a holiday the process of booking and getting there was fine but they serious misled me and sold a hotel package which was disgusting. The hotel itself was so filthy and did not help one bit. When I escalated the matter no one ever called me to resolve or help me and then ignored my complaint and never came back with a compromise or some form of a solution or compensation. Moving onto my next booking with them which I had booked in September 2019 so prior to the feb one. Got cancelled because of COVID. But I had to ring them to find that out as they never sent me any communication. When it came to the refund as I’m sure all customers are experiencing they give you the run around. So after several calls and a complaint which again I heard nothing I still don’t have my refund. It’s been 3.5 months. Now they have stated on 30th September any unused credit notes will be given a cash refund and to email a mailbox which only is active on the 30th. Now tbh prior to this I hand useless advisors telling me my refund is on the way lol. I mean seriously teletext need to be more honest and employ intelligent people. The lies you tell to keep our money and then to not even handle a complaint is disgusting. I don’t have any faith that even when I email I’ll get this refund and will be emailing the ceo as well as disputing with my bank. Because tbh you can’t get away with this disgusting unprofessional behaviour. I’m telling you guys don’t even bother booking with these people. They are quick to take your money but very unwilling to refund it. Absolute con and farce.

Booked and paid fully in January 1500pounds to go to Spain in April as a family up today no refund. So many lies over the phone. At one time someone over the phone said your refund will be in the bank at the end of this working day,never saw it, after 7 days l called a again and l was told 7 working days it’s up to a month now nothing, can you imagine, l am becoming a beggar, don’t ever book with these people, you might become mentally disturbed becalmed l am now

I booked a holiday to Egypt for August the 19th which was cancelled .l informed teletext several times that l wanted a refund for the hotel and airfare my ref no is TT773327 l had a confirmation with the airline that they refunded the airfare on the 27 /08/20 through teletext as l booked through them Up to now l am struggling financially when teletext are holding my £3699 .00 Of my hard earned money I will be liaising with various Media if my money is not refunded to create awareness to the others who might think of booking with them Please refund my money

I booked a holiday last year to fly in April this year, it got cancelled because of COVID. I refused a credit note and have sent numerous e-mails to which I get the standard response. I am still waiting for a refund for my flights booked with Ryanair who refunded Teletext on 24 July, I have confirmed this with Ryanair and Teletext are still holding my money and now don't answer my e-mails. It is a disgrace they have my money and will not repay it to me. I will never use them again and I have complained to both the CMA and ATOL about them.

Right where do I start... I booked a holiday for me and my little brother we both just lost our dad to cancer so wanted to take a break .. booked with teletext first of all they advertise fake prices. I found and deal that was actually quiet expensive and booked it... the week after I called for my booking confirmation only to find out that they booked me the wrong day .. called for hours I was so stressed ... spoke to a manager he amended my booking after a couple days I rang up again for the itinerary only to find out my holiday had got cancelled .... I was non stop crying as how can they do this again ... again the manager rebooked it .... a month later which is today I am supposed to travel in 2 days have my bags packed only to find my flights had been cancelled again its absaloutly disgusting how I've been treated I've been calling for 3 hours now and getting passed around to different operators nobody is helping I'm soooo drained I will never ever book with them in my life and I will be reporting this it's made me sick and depressed

Due to go on holiday on 29th September 2020 same as every one else emails phone calls never had so bad service teletext asked by text if we would like to change our hotel because not offering all inclusive Eventually some one contacted us to say just checking your all sorted now we’ll no flights are now cancelled don’t worry some one will be in contact with you in the next 24 to 72 hrs went on to our booking it has now disappeared after phone conversation that was 5 weeks ago What are you going to do teletext original booking no TT757785 paid in full last November !

Booked a holiday at the beginning of the year to fly in June. Still waiting for refund and everytime I ring the customer service department I get put on hold or get the phone cut on me. Disgusting customer service and complete scammers. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!

I Have just received my full refund from Teletext Holidays, so there is hope for everyone out there. I paid my holiday in January, and was supposed to go to Tenerife on the 21.5.2020.

TT780995 Have not received one reply from any emails I have sent. You're asking others for their TT number, well here you go. Will it make a difference?? I doubt it. Deposit paid February, balance paid March. Lies and more lies. Refund dates have been: end May, end July, end August, 14th September, 20th September and end of September. No refund as yet! I have spent hours on the phone, I'd estimate 14 hours or more. Please stop lying, be honest, do what you say. Worst customer service ever.

Extremely unhappy, go on holiday to find out the hotel I’ve booked has been shut probably been closed for months as the windows were blurred. Why are you advertising hotels that basically don’t exist and to be re directed to another hotel after wondering around for hours at night to find a piece of paper on the door with tiny print. Paid about £120 for bed and breakfast but it was unavailable to us as we were not on the list. Also thought I’d booked baggage and seats with flight as the customer advisor confirmed he did so when booking and then having to pay more at the airport on arrival and departure. Been back since the 9th sent emails with no response been calling since I’ve come back being left on hold for ages. Absolutely disgusting. Also me and my husband were given a room with twin beds when I booked double like I’ve come on holiday with my brother. At this point we had enough and spent the rest of the week in separate beds. The hotel we were re directed to had the nerve to tell us the hotel is a higher star but fact is it is not what I had booked. I was avoiding writing a review but I have been left no choice as I can’t get in contact with teletext after trying for 8 days straight.

Still no refund for holiday cancelled early May. Phone calls and emails ignored. Agents constantly lie about payments being processed by X date.

Will never book a holiday with Teletext again , have now been waiting 16 wks for a refund,they take ages to answer when you phone,then tell you ,you will get a callback , which never happens,when you email they fob you off off then ignore you you, I was told I'd have to wait till the 31st of August for a refund and after numerous attempts ,now told the 30th of September then I'll get my refund , finding it hard to believe a word they say,

Denied a refund got cancer so cannot go on my holiday then I get a message from teletext compliance team 3 weeks later saying they can help ( Holly) emailed them 5 times and what a surprise no reply at all save your money do not give it to these cowboys you will never see it again ever 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

We are meant to be travelling in 23 hours time , we have no booking confirmed from teletext holidays . Spent all week contacting them with no answers just lies . One person told us we are flying from Gatwick another person has said Heathrow . Spoke to EMirates directly who told us that teletext holidays cancelled our holiday on the 10th august . We also spoke to a manager who didn’t seem to care and advised he will terminate our calls as we were asking if our holiday was confirmed . Which he refuses to give us an answer . Also said we were wasting he’s time . This the service is been nothing but a disgrace and we would never use these again . We have paid £1800 in full , and he has said we will not be getting a refund .

Booked up for October (before covid) Unable to discuss amending it as they won’t answer calls, emails etc. On hold for at least 50 minutes then they hang up on you. Automated responses from them on email, social media And sites like this. Absolutely shoddy customer service. Please, please please don’t book with them. I know covid is unprecedented but they’re handling of it is simply fraudulent. I’m still waiting on a reply to emails from 4 weeks ago.
