If I could rate 0 I would. Disgusting. Refusing to give us back our deposit after Ryan air cancelled our flights in may. I’m going to have to do a charge back on the credit card. Horrendous company to book with. Do not use

Discusting AVOID AT ALL COST SO RUDE, THEY HAVE STOLE OUR MONEY, they Lie they cut you off, we are still not getting our refund i have rang 20 times and each time they say they will credit us in 7-10 days. NO MANAGERS CANT SEND EMAILS AND CANT TRANSFER CALLS...THEY ARE RACIST

I advise anyone against using this company. They clearly do not value their customers! Such a poorly managed company and customer their service is a disgrace. I had a holiday booked with teletext holidays for a trip to Spain on the 14th of June which of course was cancelled due to Covid 19. I was initially under the impression that as a customer that has brought something that had not been received that surely I would be refunded promptly, besides consumer rights and all that.. Well consumer rights doesn't seem to apply to teletext holidays for some unknown reason? Regardless of that I was very understanding given the circumstances and feel I have been very patient considering its almost 5 months following the date I was supposed to travel and have still not received a refund.. This entire process has been nothing but stress especially upto recent as it just seems as though they have no intentions to give me MY money back. From the start to now I have received no guidance or advice that has been of any benefit, teletext has completely dismissed my questions, I have received minimal correspondence, I have been given false information and have been lied to on multiple occasions and they have even taken money from my account following me telling them via live chat and email not to as the airlineprovider had already confirmed that the flights were cancelled, so there was absolutely no reason for any further payments to be taken from my account. It is over a month since receiving any correspondence from teletext holidays, which their last email was advising me to contact them again in 4 weeks time so they could further assist me.. I have done exactly that yet still no correspondence? Teletext always seem to pass the book that they are waiting for their suppliers? Well I and many other customers did not book through your suppliers, we booked directly through teletext holidays so it is your responsibility to resolves these issues not your suppliers. Teletext do not want to refund people what is rightfully theirs because of the financial impact it would have on their company hence the ridiculous delays. It does not matter to them that in such difficult times many people have found themselves in financial crisis and actually need this money, so long as their company isn't affected right? Well it is NOT the customers responsibility to finance teletext holidays to ensure that they aren't financially affected! I am most disappointed in teletext holidays as I truly thought it to be a trusted holiday provider with such long standing, I can now see how wrong I actually was. I will persevere until I get MY money finally returned to my account even if that means that I have to take the legal route to do so! I advise everyone to keep an evidence log of all correspondence as I have just incase the legal response is your last option. There is much more I could add but I think this should give others sufficient awareness not to gamble their hard earned money with such a poorly managed company.

I booked a flight and hotel for 16 people to Kos for my wedding. We were due to get married in June but got postponed to September because of covid. Six weeks prior to us traveling I found out that the hotel was not open. I tried to contact teletext ie emails, phone calls but to no avail. No response from them. In desperation I had no option but to find a hotel that could accommodate our party and pay yet again. On the way to the airport I got a phone call from teletext to say the hotel was not open and they had found us another hotel. I told the lady on the phone due to being unable to contact them I had no choice than to find an hotel for ourselves. She was very understanding as I explained that we were on the train going to the airport. And had not heard from teletext re Hotel closure. Now we are trying to get our money back for hotel. They said we are not entitled to a refund because they found an alternate hotel.. They owe us an apology for all the stress and uncertainty, for what should have been a memorable occasion. Plus a refund for the hotel.

Ref no TT783923. Do not even consider to use Teletext for a holiday , Booked holiday in February, Ryanair changed flight details and issued a refund which went back to the card it was paid on (Teletext master card) have rung teletext numerous times which can take anything up to two hours to get through only to be told they haven’t received it off Ryanair , which I know is not true ,sending emails every week which they do not reply too ,This is my money and as far as I am concerned this is Tantamount to theft so I am now resorting to take legal action as I don’t see why this company should get away with this , If anyone else is thinking about using Teletext holidays my advice is DONT, Worst company I have ever had to deal with and customer service is non existent!! No Stars.

WE NEED TO TAKE THIS COMPANY DOWN! DISGUSTING WAY TO TREAT PEOPLE AND THEY ARE GETTING AWAY WITH IT! WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING! March 21st was when are holiday was so suppose to happen and we are still awaiting are refund! Absolutely disgusting company who each time we call tell us some utter rubbish. Promised refund on several occasions but now in November still no money returned to us! Last phone call we made was 31st October this is the date when we were told are refund would be received. No refund received so we made another call this time we were told we have one more process to go through. We need to email the finance department then we can get are money back! Week later no communication from anyone from teletext! LIES LIES LIES LIES!

I have always booked with TT but not anymore. Trying to get my refund for my holiday is a nightmare they have been so rude and keep putting the phone down after I waited an hour to answer. Emailed numerous times to no avail. Unfortunately I have had to do a charge back through my bank. I am so disappointed with this company is an understatement. There are thousands of us in this situation the media have been in touch think the ball will get rolling now because so many have complained. BEWARE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A HOLIDAY WITH THESE DO IT AT YOUR OWN PERIL Please TT don't answer by saying get in touch because you never do!!!

Just keep getting fobbed off. holiday paid in full by may still waiting for refund. Avoid booking with this company at all costs

Holiday booked beginning of April which got cancelled due to COVID. After umpteen calls still no refund. End of September I was told 7-10 days. Blatant liars and a disreputable company. TT758708

My reference number TT731374 Still awaiting refund of £2000. Holiday was cancelled in May 2020. Emails are being ignored. Anytime you call they are cutting you off. I have used teletext lots in the past and have never had any issues but the way they are treating loyal customers is absolutely disgusting. I will never use this company again, absolute shambles!

Avoid Avoid, this company advertised holiday prices that do not exist, they will take your deposit and then a couple of days later tell you the price you paid for all inclusive is actually room only price and try and charge you several hundred pounds more,when you call to get your deposit back expect to be on hold for two hours,rubbish company would never try and use them again 0-10

Re: TT778194, well here is my reference number so you have no excuse not to review this. teletext Holidays are little more than a criminal organisation. If you refuse to return money to someone you owe it to then this is called theft. These people owe me a lot of money and they have lied to me every step of the way. Do not in any circumstance consider spending money with them. I have written to the chairman who is obviously as pig ignorant as the rest of his company. Zero acknowledgment of my letter. Unfit to trade.

Absolutely disgusting rancid company and it’s workers. They have take 500 pound from my account with out permission. Holiday not going ahead. And they still took it. Vermin. Customer service line non existent. And they slam the phone down on you Must have happened to me over 20 times. I want my money back. Vermin. Rats Went in for another 500 pound today knowing that my holiday not going ahead to government restrictions COVID-19. Please. Avoid at all costs. They will take your money and run. Evil company. Full of Indians in their home country scamming us all. I even heard praying in the background. Should have smelt a rotter then. Something must be done!!

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Holiday cancelled six months ago and still no refund in sight. Customer service is non existent.

I’m in the same boat as many of you in here still waiting for my refund for my holiday in may 2020 they promise every time I speak to then it will be in “in two weeks” they are the most disgustingly rude people I have been hung up on more times than I care to remember if the money is not in within a week I will be seeking legal advice I will never book with them again

Wish I could give 0 stars. DO NOT USE THEM!. We've had so many issues with them. They kept putting up the price after our holiday was confirmed. First it was flight was full so we had to get another airline back which added £114 to the original price. Then it was - someone calculated the total wrong so they needed more money out of us. I asked them to cancel the holiday. They said they can't, It's already booked. When we finally took the plane and got to our destination and they left us stranded with our 6 YEAR OLD. They couldn't find us on the transfers booking system at our destination. We were on the phone for 1hr holding and no answer ' WE ARE ABSOLUTELY LIVID' Being in a foreign country and not knowing where to turn and can't speak to anyone is awful!!!!!. I hope no one from teletext come on here trying to damage control and telling me to email. I ALREADY HAVE AND NO ONE REPLIED!!!!!!!! I will be taking you to court for this safeguarding issues.

Don’t use Teletext Holidays ... I booked a Holiday with them in Feb 2020 for a trip in April 2020. COVID hit and it got cancelled, I was due full payment after 17 days but received nothing. I was more than patient as I understood the travel industry was entering the unknown as were we all. After numerous emails and calls I did get my accommodation money back but not my flight carrier money, flying via TUI. Teletex advised me that they were waiting but TUI told me they had reimbursed Teletext. Again I tried to call with waiting for up to an hour with no answer, numbers not recognised and emails unanswered. Today I kept listening to the on hold music for an hour when finally somebody answered. Again the Teletext call taker maintained TUI hasn’t paid them ... I challenged the call taker on Teletexts terrible customer service as they are supposed to be looking after my interest and if that was the case they should at least have kept me in the loop. With this the call taker stated that she would call TUI on the other line and would I hold, I did for approx 2 minutes and then I was cut off ... as the conversation started the call taker confirmed all my contact details so I would assume I would get a call straight back apologising for being cut off ... still waiting. Even the complaint telephone is not recognised ... disgraceful

No refund after they cancelled the holiday even after requesting it due to lead passenger being diagnosed with cancer, repeatedly offered holiday voucher for next year after being told lead passenger would not be here. lead passenger has now dies refusing to give refund to pay for the funeral and we are getting in debt. They will reply to this review they will get in touch and look into it but do not it’s all lies that are destroying lives in some circumstances.
