Customer service is shocking, if I could give minus stars I would! Refunds process is not difficult it is non-existent. My query has been on going for 3 weeks and is still unresolved. Live chat doesn't work. Having to cancel holiday due to Covid and they are asking for 50% cancellation fee despite the promise of no fees due to Covid DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY.

I booked and paid for a holiday in Feb 2020. It was then cancelled in March due to Covid, after many many phone calls and e-mails I still haven’t receive my money back. Empty promises and dam right lies A year on and still not returned my money. Please do not fall into the same trap as I did. *Do Not Book with these Robbers *

Hi to anyone thinking of booking through teletext, don’t bother, I booked a holiday for my anniversary paid for it, but it was cancelled to due to coronavirus. I have been waiting over a year now for the refund I have called emailed everything anyone can do to get it back been promised that I would get at the end of the month every time I rang in. But still haven’t received it now I can’t get through to anyone regarding my refund so I will leave to the bank to get my money back. Never have I had such bad experience but the staff who answer phone are not professional lines are not clear and they keep cutting off overall a bad experience.

hese crooks are absolutely amazing at what they do. They are even selling holidays during the lockdown period knowing full well......there are no flights!!! William was so convincing on the phone though. He assured me that the airlines were still flying. Then there was our holiday that we had booked back in June. The customer service.....outstanding! Once you have booked, there phone systems disappear and they refuse to answer your phone calls by hanging up. Emailing is just as good. They don’t reply! If your lucky enough to finally get though like we were and spoke to Puja, they politely tell you to rebook with them and lose your money that way, or just give up and lose it anyway! There are ways of getting it back though. Though the small claims court or going though your bank but they will fight you for it!! At the end of the day, it’s their money, they have conned you out it! The best bit is yet to come!! They get their staff to write reviews....... William was amazing, Puja was helpful, Ali’s customer service was great!!! Notice the pattern. It keeps their ratings up so they can keep conning more people out of their hard earned money!! DON’T BE FULLED!!!

Absolutely disgusting service Absolutely disgusting service, still no refund from our holiday from 10 months ago. Constantly lying to us about it being processed every week since August, I hope Teletext never get another booking from anyone ever again.

We have used Teletext holidays for years. The process is simple, and the deals are good. Then Covid happened, and the real colours came out. So we waited patiently for our turn in the refund queue, and sure enough 15 days before our 31st May 2020 departure, our holiday was cancelled. At this point, we knew we were going to be offered a voucher, or a move to a different date (but not at the same price). So we said we wanted a cash-refund, nothing less. Despite the laws around this, we were told that was not going to happen. I complained to my MP (Damian Green) who merely passed this on to another minister, who said that the CMA were aware and would be looking in to it. (The CMA did make a statement specifically about Teletext, in January 2021 - 10 months after the trouble began. We also approached our bank, as we paid by Halifax Clarity Credit Card (thank the lord we did). The bank actually mis-directed us at first, by stating we needed to wait 45 days (when we should not have). They did however get it together when those 45 days were up. Halifax CC took enough detail in the first call to not only make the Chargeback, but also to issue the re-claim when Teletext refused to bend. All in all it took 6 months, but we got our money back. Look, I get it. Travel companies were sent into a tail spin by this. My contract however was made under UK law, and it states clearly that the refund should be made within a very tight time frame (14 days). Yes, I am sure they had trouble getting the money back from the Airline (Virgin), and the Hotel. There was however a simple solution - keep the money, and provide the service 1 year later. They wanted to do this, but charge whatever they liked the next year. If they'd have fixed the cost, I might have one for it, but they didn't. They wanted to keep the money, and charge the same amount again. I could have paid for this by debit card, and been completely shafted. Remember the protection offered by Credit Cards on all purchases over £100. Also remember that Package Travel offers some extra protection above DIY - and it might be worth paying that little bit more. I note also that the Merchant Metrics here state Under-an-hour for resolution of queries. Ours took months, and was not solved by Teletext in the end at all. Also of note are fake reviews on the internet. There is another well known reviews site which carries hundreds of fake reviews. They are easy to spot, as they always mention a staff member by name. I see Reviews.io has much better scruples, and has obviously not allowed them +1. As for communication, I tried them all. None of them resulted in anything but "we are giving you a voucher, like it or not". I will never use Teletext Holidays again.

HI BOOKED WITH TELETEXT HOLIDAYS STILL WAITING FOR REFUND OF £3500.00 . THEY HAVE HAD THE MONEY BACK FROM EASY JET AND HOTEL STILL NO REFIND LETS HOPE THE CMA WILL SORT TELTEXT OUT WITH ALL THE MONEY THEY HAVE STOLE FROM CUSTOMERS TT783347 NOT HAPPY WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE VERY RUDE AND PUT THE PHONE DOWN ON YOU WHEN YOU ASK FOR A REFUND

Dont book with this company! AWFUL AND SHOULD GO BANKRUPT People come on here for honest opinions. SO HONESTLY Dont book with this company!! They are great when it comes to booking holidays with them(they used to be our main holiday supplier), all happy willing to accept your money. But when it all hits the fan they dont want to know. Dont rely on this company to protect you especially in this current state. Me and my boyfriend still haven't received a refund back from our last 2 holidays cancelled due to covid LAST YEAR. We have booked so many holidays with them in the past, but won't be anymore. Dont trust them, if something goes wrong then they don't have your back. poor English customer service will huff and puff down the phone at you. They are the most rudest, arrogant, unhelpful people I've ever spoken to in my life and shouldn't be in the job if they can't deal with problems. They advised us that they transfered the money, completely lied. I've called my bank the airline, who have confirmed they haven't. Then ill call back speak to a totally different advisor, have to explain everything again for them to tell me something different. More bull. I'm still waiting for a "call back" and refund nearly a year down the the line. They ROB YOU OF YOUR MONEY. The customer service departments are liars, I've spent hours on the phone to them just going round in circles, trying to get MY MONEY BACK that I have worked hard for them to delete you entirely from there system. please stick to trusted holiday suppliers. Especially in this current time. These cowboys don't deserve your money and I hope they go bankrupt.

Pretty much the same as everyone else here, Was meant to go to Spain for 7 nights with 3 friends, THIS BITS IMPORTANT, I'm not the lead passenger but I paid for it on my credit card Flights were cancelled due to Ryan air cancelling the flights, So we informed teletext holidays of this and they tried to persuade us to take vouchers which we refused, so they said the refund will be processed. this hasn't been done. They rang the Lead Passenger every week to try and persuade them to take the vouchers... to which we always say no. then they repeat "ok we'll start your refund process".... hang on, you said that on the previous call Due to Covid the lead passenger is no longer with us and they refuse to speak with me because I'm not the lead passenger. I have informed them of this and told them i paid for the holiday but they just don't care. "unless the Lead passenger gives us permission we cannot speak with you" .... How does a deceased person do this... anyone got any ideas? Ive had no choice but to raise a chareback on my card for this. IT's beyond a joke, I WOULD ENCORAGE EVERYONE WHO IS READING THIS JUST REQUEST THE REFUND AND GO STRAIT TO YOUR BACK FOR A CHARGE BACK. The quicker the banks drains their funds, the quicker they will file for administration and then ATOL can step in NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Worst worst worst agencie ever and never ever book again with them. I scheduled and paid in full for a 7 day holiday for two, (My Fiancé), with Teletext Holiday to Corfu Greece. My holiday was scheduled and paid for in full on September 6, 2020 to depart from London, Luton airport on October 6, 2020 at 15:15pm. When I arrived to the airport with my fiancé Elizabeth Paredes, for our flight, we were advised by an agent from Wizz Air, that our flight was not on their rosters and that their last flight to Corfu Greece was on Saturday October the 3rd, 2020. They also informed us that they had emailed every customer as well as travel agencies of their future cancellations for all flights to Corfu Greece on Saturday, October 3rd 2020. Teletext Holiday failed to contact me via phone, text or email of all cancellations with Wizz Air to Corfu Greece. After spending hours with Teletext Holiday and speaking to numerous agents (20 people), being put on hold and having them hang up on me in the process, I had no other choice but to contact my attorney to further help and assist me in this matter. Teletext finally informed that they will and can only assist me and my holiday needs by giving me a full refund of the total cost of my holiday. They also wanted me to pay for extra air flights, totaling for two people £754 if i chose to keep the reservation with Mareblue Hotel at Corfu Greece, spending yet again another airfare payment that was already paid for in full, part of my holiday deal. I also paid for a week in advance to park my vehicle in order to depart on time for my flight that was apparent, never scheduled to leave on the day that I paid for with Teletext Holiday. They have advised me that they will reimburse me with the full parking fee that I already paid for a week. The last agent I spoke to, Nishsa, informed me that I will receive two emails with my cancellation as well as a copy of the full refund I will be receiving for my holiday. As of today, I have NOT received anything on their end. Now is almost 4 month and nothing from them.

I'm waiting for my refund since April 2020, it is feb21 now. I acepted that I been scamed and this company is froud. It is much beyond legal time line to refund and way way beyond good will and understanding the sudden and current situation. TT755954 was my dream holiday, now it is a nightmerish memory

Same as most people my wife organised a trip to las vegas for about 10 of us, we've paid the money (in full so as not to breach the contract) and they will not refund despite many assurances, we're now taking them to court! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Awful company to deal with! I've been chasing my holiday refund since September, every time the promise it will be the following month I'll receive my refund - every month am disappointed. They constantly lie to me, they have even hung up on me twice! Despite my requests I can never speak to a manager, even though they put me on hold for 10-20mins at a time to speak to them themselves. The company is a joke, I will NEVER use them or recommend them again.

Possibly the worst company ever. I cancelled my holiday in March 2020 due to having extremely vulnerable travellers in the family. I was first told to provide proof of this which I did, they then tried to convince me to get my dates changed to which I obviously refused to due to the pandemic. Eventually they agreed to giving me a refund but was told I would be put in a que as there are many people waiting. I call every month and get told something different by an agent each time. It has been 11 months now and I still haven't received my money. When I called last month I was told that I havent received my money because to do so I had to apparently email the refund team and confirm the last 4 digits on the card I paid with and wanted the refund paid into. This was never told to me any of the prior agents I spoke to. On the call today I have been told I'm still in the que and should receive my money soon. I requested some sort of evidence I.e an email from the company to say this in writing but was told they couldn't.
