“A thorough yet accessible course with so much useful information. I’d recommend it without hesitation. Lots of detailed points that as a qualified teacher still made me really think about and empathise with ESL students. Thank you to the staff for their help and support”

“This was a very good. Course. The mix of text with videos with class demonstrations made it easier to follow along. It was very well written. Each part of the tests felt well covered, ensuring you are actually prepared. I recommended it to many others who want to get the certification.”

“I found this course really useful. I have some classroom experience as an English language assistant, so it was good for me to learn more about essential grammar, phonetics and how language courses are structured, as well as do's and don't's in the classroom. I wouldn't recommend this as a stand-alone course for someone planning to teach English abroad because it doesn't include classroom experience. The sample lesson videos were really good, though, showing examples of best practice to emulate. You could really appreciate what it takes to do the job of a TEFL teacher from these, and how much preparation must be required.”

“I loved this course! Even though I've been teaching English for 8 years, there were still a lot of things that I learned from it (more of the formalities, if anything). It could be improved by some more visuals but, as many people have suggested in their reviews, using text-to-voice helped a lot in that regard. I feel that this course strongly sets people up to succeed in the field of teaching English. Thanks, TEFL UK! I greatly look forward to applying what I learned :)”

“I really enjoyed going through the the 120 hour TEFL course! The content was engaging and I found the units focused on grammar incredibly fascinating. I've learned so much! The module writers did a brilliant job of explaining the concepts using different example sentences which made the content easier to digest. The website design is simple to navigate and it keeps a note of your progression. When I first started this course, I found the idea of teaching quite daunting. After finishing this course and watching the included video lessons (which were very helpful to see), I feel more confident about teaching. Thank you TEFL UK for this opportunity.”

“TEFL course was really the best course I have ever taken. Honestly, I felt that it was specifically designed for me, and it highly met my needs. The course was practical and contained almost all concepts and and up to date strategies. It was really comprehensive and will impact my performance positively. I work as a supervisor in UNRWA schools. Now I feel eager to share what I have learnt in TEFL. “I'm thrilled to have been able to complete my TEFL in my own time as I work two jobs. At first glance there seems like a lot to read, but all the information is broken down into clear sections which makes it all easier to digest. The tests at the end of each section were not at all stressful as there were tester questions throughout your learning, which really helped everything sink in. I'd really recommend the additional practicum as well where you can put your new skills into practice with real students, it was vital for my confidence going into teaching for the first time.”
