“I really enjoyed the 120-hour TEFL course. Being able to complete it at my own pace was exactly what I needed. It was a great refresher on my grammar skills. My lesson plans and activities are now much more interesting and engaging for my students. I highly recommend TEFL.org”

“I highly recommend this course. If you are willing to study, take notes, and absorb all the content with attention and focus, you will truly have a solid foundation to teach English as a foreign language. I really enjoyed learning the methodology of teaching English and the brush up on grammar in the grammar course was essential to getting the basics right. There is a ton of great material in this course that will benefit you into your teaching. Plus, I was able to get through it in the time without issues, even around other heavy demands on my time, and a month-long family medical emergency. The only thing I would like to say is that the assignments are somewhat demanding and cannot be breezed through. You need to learn the material and understand it thoroughly to pass. If English is not your first language and you are looking for an "easy side hustle" I don't recommend trying to do this. This is for people who are native speakers of the language. Users of the forum who are not native English speakers struggled to do this course, and many quit.”

Non-native speakers of English often have much far superior grammatical awareness (in the UK we are not taught our own grammar in most schools). Explanations are perfectly clear the fact to have a transcript during videos is also very clever it definitely help if you don't work out everything they say. “Great experience, highly recommend it to anyone looking. It's not that hard, takes a bit of time and effort but is definitely worth it in the end. Information was presented in a very digestible way and I found myself constantly involved and entertained, besides learning a thing or two, of course. Regardless of how well you paid attention in school, you will definitely find smth new here. Thank you to TEFL team and course superstars - Brian, Kelsey, Kirsty, Joe, Asif, my tutor Alex, I'm sure I forgot someone, apologies for that, oh yeah, that lady from Demonstration videos, very classy and stylish, don't recall her name, I'm sorry, and then there was that other teacher lady from Scotland, Caroline or Catherine, again, my bad... “I did the 140 hour course. I thought the online course was very comprehensive with many example videos to help see demonstrations of everything. I thought that some of the multiple choice questions didn't really test my understanding of how to teach. However they were well structured for testing knowledge of grammar. I thought the in-person classes were also very useful to see more demonstrations and ask any questions I had - I am better at learning via demonstrations in person so this was worth doing.”
