“I have taken several courses with TEFL now, and each time have felt supported. The feedback on the essay questions has always been helpful and to the point. Angie was especially responsive when I ran into some confusion, and stuck with me until we worked it out. This has been a wonderful experience all around.”

“Very easy to follow, workload is as advertised, content engaging and well designed to keep interest during the course. Assignments were well designed to consolidate course content. I think the course would benefit from more emphasis on teaching attitudes and the character of a teacher- maybe an assignment to check teachers know how to address class problems appropriately or how to build rapport- some tips or do nots would be good here. I worry that some unsuitable teachers could easily breeze through the course with bad or lazy intentions about their actual teaching ability/style, which this course does little to correct or talk about. Lastly, course tutors do an amazing job providing fast feedback and results, I really appreciated the support I received during my study. A big shoutout and thank you to my tutor Thomas Kerr who was excellent!”

“I completed the course in about 10 weeks, which is about average. Its all very well structured and each module flows well into the next. The topic quizes are intuitive, perhaps too easy. They could be made more challenging by increasing the number of choises. You ither have to have a love of grammer or iron clad persiverence to finish the grammer course, the teaching courses are however fasinating. The vidoes and example lessons are informative and provide exelent ideas for your own lesson plans. It typicaly took me two attemps to pass lesson plan asigments; the feed back is exelent. (Though i was once erroniously accused of using AI, I never use AI to generate work, i think AI is a short cut by passing understanding, I want to understand!). Instructions are clear and i was never left wondering what to do. Overall, its quite a slog, but highly rewarding. You can teach engilsh anywhere! I'm using TEFL on my gap year and on sabaticals in the future. Thank you TEFL team!”

“Very good comprehensive lessons. The pace is neither too slow or too fast and builds confidence throughout the lessons. Tutor response and marking is very rapid. I feel much more confident in teaching english thanks to this course.”

“I really enjoyed the course on neurodiversity. I learned a lot, and it was good to see some strategies that I can put into place in the classroom. Perhaps there could have been some tips for online lessons, and how to manage neurodiversity for online classes. I have a neurodiverse student with ADHD and I have to manage them differently within the same structure and it can be problematic at times. I would have liked the course to have given me some more resources as well.”

“The course was a masterclass in everything grammar and teaching, with all of the basics covered in depth and a lot of the non-basics covered well enough that I already feel confident in teaching both abroad and remotely. The assignments were very well supported with the knowledge taught and with examples and with the help of my amazing tutor Steve I feel happy knowing I have already completed lesson plans. “Dear TEFL Org Team, I would like to sincerely thank you for the opportunity to complete the 120-hour Premier TEFL course with your organization. At the beginning I was quite nervous about how the course would go, but I was very pleased to find that everything was smooth and well organized. The structure of the modules was clear and engaging, and I felt supported throughout the entire process. Whenever I submitted assignments, I always received feedback promptly—usually within 48 hours—which gave me confidence and motivation to continue. Whenever I reached out through the support box, the team responded quickly and helpfully, which I greatly appreciated. Overall, I can honestly say there is nothing negative about my experience. The course has taught me a great deal, especially about teaching skills and classroom practices that were completely new to me. I had only limited knowledge of English grammar and teaching methodology before, but through this program I gained valuable tools and insights. For that, I am truly grateful to the TEFL teachers and support staff. Looking ahead, I am now starting to search for teaching opportunities. As someone who has just recently completed the course and who is only 20 years old, I am aware that many positions ask for one or more years of experience. This is a little intimidating, but I am hopeful that with the guidance of your job centre and the foundation I have received through your training, I will be able to find the right opportunities and continue to grow as a teacher. “Overall it’s a good structured course which made me feel quite confident in what to do as a teacher. I also picked up useful tips for my current job as a music teacher (especially from smaller courses on How to teach children and Teach Neurodiverse students). The space is good and it’s reasonable to finish course in a given period of time. Extension of the course IS very expensive however. Assignments for 120 hrs course and Online and children courses were of good length and were spread through the whole course. Assignment for Neurodivergent students Was Only once at the very end for 600 words. However I did struggle with one as It Expected to cover So much in so few words. I did spent several days trying to fit into this word count and Still went over the words limit. I think it would better to break this assignment into 2 smaller assignments with a little less instructions (that are overwhelming at the moment). I never worked with neurodivergent students on a professional level even so I do have some ADHD in some of my classes but they are not diagnosed ones and I would think that’s why it was totally new material for me. For this reason I also submitted assignment on the Very Last day of the course. It was marked2 days After the course finished - But asa result I couldn’t see the feedback (unless I paid extension fees . I did pass unit But I would prefer to see the feedback now please for Neurodivergent course. I am not prepared unfortunately to pay around 50 dollars for extension of the course to only be able to see feedback . Thank you.”
