“I engaged with Tailster to earn some extra money while looking for a full time job, and despite adhering to all of your policies, I was charged an introduction fee of £300. This fee was not only unexpected but also unjustified, as there was no breach of your terms and conditions on my part. Moreover, the manner in which Tailster handled this situation is extremely concerning. Instead of resolving the issue through direct communication and fair evaluation, Tailster immediately involved third-party debt collectors. This action not only caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience but also tarnished Tailster's reputation as a customer-friendly and ethical platform.”

“So I went to apply but realised I was a year too young to even do it so I went "oh well" and came off the page. Now I have to pay £9.99 for an APPROVAL fee when I couldn't even apply because I was too young. I haven't even got a card I CAN pay money with. Stupid.”

“Before completing my assignment to become a pet carer, they sent a first time fee approval invoice of £9.99 that make me aware that something is not quite right, all this rush ...so I closed my account and asked them to cancel the invoice. Why so quick to take money from someone who didn’t even complete their Application as a pet carer not benefiting from any of their promised services.”

Hi Violet thanks for your message, the £9.99 charge you are referring to is the vetting and approval fee. This fee will be reimbursed to you when you complete your first Tailster booking. This was stated in the assessment when you apply to become a Tailster pet carer. If you wish to close your account please email us at info@tailster.com

“One star is too much. To mirror every other complaint I competed a job on 14th Dec still no payment, despite numerous emails to Siobhan and with the standard reply this has been forwarded urgently to our financial department….. well I’ll not be holding my breath…. Try Rover and Pawshake they are great they pay up in 3-4 days straight into your bank account”

“On our return from our trip away. We noticed that our kitten has got an infection in both of her eyes. She hadn’t been taken to the vets I’ve been locked out the whole time we were away and we were under the impression that if a pet becomes unwell while it’s owners are away they would be taken to see a vet . We know kittens to get scratches due to play but her eyes are very weepy”
