“An absolutely beautiful property with everything needed for our stay. Modern and contemporary in style with an incredibly comfortable bed, quality bedding and the serenity that we were seeking. Watching the lambs and cows made this extra special, as did looking at the stars when in bed. We will miss being woken by the cows in the morning as this was a treat. Having said that, when the windows are closed, we were unable to hear any external noise - for those wanting to sleep in. The warm welcome and hosts were excellent. We also enjoyed reading the welcome pack which provided an array of useful information. WiFi was excellent throughout the property during our stay. Gobeithiwn ymweld yn fuan yn y dyfodol.”

“Firstly, it was very difficult to contact Sykes prior to the holiday to address queries, which was very frustrating. The cottage was really expensive, so we had high expectations. Some aspects were lovely, such as comfortable beds, an ample kitchen, three bathrooms plus a downstairs loo, and a lovely versitile outside seating space. Others were not - the cottage was a little 'tired' with flaking paint and stained ceilings (from previous leaks), the previous renters had left dirty baking trays with solidified cooking fat in the oven which had not been spotted and dealt with when cleaned, several lightbulbs needed replacing. The drive was very small and largely taken up by bins in a large bin store which made parking difficult in a village with very limited parking. A coffee machine would have been good (we rent a cottage in the UK every summer and have never been without one before). Overall, a nice cottage with great potential, but a bit disappointing for the price.”
“Lovely Lodge exactly as shown in the picture. Great as a base to visit local areas and beaches. Quiet not overlooked and close to nature. Everything u could need, however written instructions on how to use the cooker/hob and a code for the locked doors would be very useful.
Assuming they were wardrobes or similar? If not clothes storage in main bedroom would be good.

“Lovely big house, very close to the meare. Rooms are all decent size and enough when a large family to separate yourselves. Kitchen is very well equipped, although to be fair we ate main meals out. There are seats outside if you dont mind people walking by you. Parking can be an issue in good weather but there is a car park nearby, downside to that is that its £4 for 2 hours or £8 per day. Would stay there again.”
