“Excellent accomodation for our family. The Hot tub worked well, the beds were comfy, and the kitchen well equipped. Its about 20 minutes walk down to the Ferry to Hawkshead, which was nice in the mornings.”

“Had a wonderful weekend at Mallard, this was our second visit this year and we will definitely visit again in the future. The cottage was very well equipped and lovely and clean. Space to park the car and even an enclosed garden with a table and chairs. This site is in north Somerset which is extremely dog friendly. That is important to me.”
“I had a query so went on live chat and spoke to Michael. He could have not been any more helpful. My query was answered within a couple of minuites, during which time he'd called the property owner to get the answer i required. He then remained on live chat whilst i made the booking. During this i encountered problems when it came to making the payment. Michael kindly sent me links to try which still did not work. He finally suggested i instal the Sykes app which i did and payment was made instantly. The previous problem i'm guessing may have been browser relatedon bith Chrome and Edge.
To sum up, Michael was first class amd a credit to Sykes Cottages. Thank you for a quick and pleasant experience.”
“Excellent property with a dog friendly and secure garden. Comfortable and ideal for multi-generational family. Just opposite the pub, so a meal out was a short stroll. Well situated for Llandridrod Lake and the Elan Valley.”
“Enjoyed our stay in Eden Lodge in Kirby Stephen after our original booking In Riverbank Cottage was cancelled due to double booking.Booked th 5th to 10th of August unfortunately we were fed a pack of lies by the owner of Riverbank who told us the cottage was not available because of bathroom renovations.From Eden Lodge it was apparent that people were staying there even spoke to them so we'll done Sykes cottages for finding us alternative accommodation.Zero marks to the owner of Riverbank for her deception”
