“Came up to stay and visit family & the cottage was perfect for me and one hairy beast.
Pretty enjoyed having Direct access to the beach and also the local pub the Royal, which is truly excellent.

“Gorgeous lodge. Very clean and spacious. Everything thought of. Bonus of having a washing machine and tumble dryer. Bottle of prosseco and tray of biscuits as a treat for our arrival. Our small chihuahua dog loved the lodge lying on the sunshine watching the ducks. Certainly recommend.”
“We had a fantastic long weekend. The cottage is cosy, well equipped and supported by a wonderfully helpful host. The welcome basket was gratefully recieved. The location was perfect. Quiet with ample parking, but a short drive from Scarborough, Filey and a bit further afield, Whitby.

“Outlook lodge was absolutely wonderful. We couldn’t wish for a nicer place. The views from the back garden were brilliant. We saw lots of wildlife .the lodge itself You could not fault it everything we could wish for we had it was comfortable warm and cozy .The kitchen was well equipped beautiful warm shower and a lovely bath If you want to soak .we definitely recommend it. And we will definitely be back next year.”

“We all very much enjoyed our stay - from the Grandparents to the Grandchildren. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay, especially the kitchen. The location was perfect, a short walk to the beach, the pier, the shops - everything! And supermarkets all within easy reach. Every room was clean and tidy and everyone said how cofortable their beds were. The heating and hot water worked fine with no issues and the wi-fi was strong enough for all the children to be online at once! Hot tub nice and warm and added bonus how big it was. Only slight criticism was the parking. The house advertises it as having 2 car parking spaces on the drive, however there is a large industrial bin which means only 1 car can fit, we did try 2 but it was just too tight, so maybe only advertise it as one parking space and offer recomendations of other parking - for example accross the main road parking is £5 for 24hours. Great stay overall, would recommend and would return! :-)”
“Really nice place in a great location in Seahouses.
We stayed with 4 adults and 2 kids. It was very comfortable and very reasonably priced.
Well kitted out kitchen, beds were comfy and the place was nice and warm considering it was the end of Feb.
There was also lots of board games and some kids toys.
Nice long drive which easily fit 2 cars on and lovely back garden which would be lovely in the summer”

“The perfect bolt hole from which to explore Dartmoor and beyond. The accommodation is spacious, well-equipped and tastefully decorated and furnished. Ideal for a couple with a dog. The beautiful vase of spring flowers was a very welcoming touch. Our spaniel enjoyed having access to the field opposite for those essential runs and ball games! We hope to stay longer than our three days next time.”
“Enjoyed our stay at cottage very clean and is equipped well with everything you need and nicely decorated bed very comfy we slept well. Welcome pack was a lovely touch to. Only problem I had as I have not got good knees was the hill down to cottage from parking car but that was my problem 🙁. Recommend The Bluebell at South Wingfield for Sunday lunch great food need to book though”
“Contact with the owner was great - we were able to get into the cottage a little early and when we encountered a problem with the gate it was sorted quickly. The cottage is stylishly decorated and very comfortable and clean. We were impressed with the welcome pack which included milk in the fridge. The cottage is ideally suited for the pretty harbour with decent pubs, lovely cafes, restaurants and shops. We enjoyed being able to walk from the cottage along the coast. It’s a beautiful part of England.”
